Kowloon Tong only got one big mall, and there it is. Most of the quality-guaranteed restaurants serve here. We were to hurry for movie at around 8pm but only arrived at 7pm. Love rice paper so so much! The beef was marinated with a lot of sugar, I mean A LOT.
Relatively sweet but it is the beauty of Vietnamese rice paper roll to me!
Rice paper rather sticky, they just sticked together, but overall was okay to me.
Pancake
I actually had no idea of what Vietnamese pancake is like when I ordered. I thought it would be like crepe from France as it was once the French colony.
It was just like the Chinese fried egg-iee with shrimp and hell lot of bean sprouts.
Quite appetising, just a bit oily.
Vietnamese shredded chicken cold vermicelli
Paired with my favourite sauce (I guess it was with sugar, fish sauce and some chillies). Very refreshing and appetising! Just didn't really liked the chicken. A bit too old and tasteless.
Pork knuckle and beef shank rice noodles in Hue style
A little spicy and sour, too little pork and beef though.
Overall is fine.
Beef Brisket in tomato stew with French bread
It was quite nice! The beef was very soft and juicy. Tomato stew was best to serve as dip for the bread or even for rice!
We told the restaurant that we were in a hurry so they tried their best to accommodate our tight schedule! Managed to go to movie on time!
