The first time I had momos, it was at a Nepalese restaurant. I loved them so much and I always wanted a place that let me have it in a more casual fast food setting. Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge. The staff seem to only speak English. What they served was momos but also burgers, pasta, fried chicken and fried fish along with items with a more Indian/Nepalese influence.

They also have lunch and take away box deals.

What peaked my interest about this place was they made their momos right there! One of the staff was quietly making them. I knew I had to order momos!

They had four fillings to choose from and come in either 6 piece for $20 or 10 pieces for $30. You then can have them steamed or upgrade to fried or with a gravy (which is spicy) or fried rolled in either spicy buffalo or tandoori spices. We decided to order three types.

This is the Steamed Pork Momo ($20 for 6 pieces). Wrapped in a gyoza shape, the pork was juicy and the skin wa not too thick. It was also well seasoned. Something I haven't found in other momos I've had before.

Steamed Paneer Cheese Momo ($20 for 6 pieces) were wrapped much like a xiao long bao. These were fantastic. They weren't too heavy and felt quite light in taste.

We tried Fried Chix Cheese Momo ($25 for 6 pieces) as I had never seen it fried before. These were pretty good. Not oily at all. The wrapping was very crispy. The filling was still juicy and moist. The cheese they used was the paneer cheese so it didn't feel too heavy.

The momos came with the spicy red dipping  sauce. This is extremely spicy so you are warned. But it's very good with layers of heat.

As momos weren't as filling as we thought, we decided to buckle down and have dinner. I had The Origin Burger ($45). A beef patty with maple bacon, cheddar, tomato, lots of pickles and homemade sauce. The sauce was like a Thousand Island sauce with some spices. The patty was juicy and one bite everything just leaked all over, making one glorious mess. I liked the bun a lot. Slightly sweet and soft, toasted with a generous smear of butter. The tomatos were juicy and the bacon was crisp. The slice of cheddar was so melted, it became unrecognizable.

I also added a Chicken Duo ($28). A bit oily but the skin was super crunchy. Seasoned lightly, the meat was very moist.

Boyfriend had the Roasted Pork Belly Burger ($48). This was surprising when it arrived. A tall stack of pork belly, slices of sausage, lettuce, tomato, mayo and white sauce. The pork belly was so soft, it melted in your mouth easily. There was no need to chew. Perfectly seasoned, boyfriend was in heaven.

He also added a Tandoori Kick Chicken Leg ($25). A nice spicy leg of chicken, generously seasoned with the spice. The meat was juicy.

The momos were fantastic. The other items were good, too. Well made and not lazily slapped together. Price was definitely not expensive. Service was friendly and we'll definitely be back. Especially since I've finally found a place that serves momos in a fast food style setting.
