Conveyor belt sushi

I came here not knowing it was part of Genki Sushi. I've never had Genki Sushi in HK but I've had it in Hawaii and it was terrible. Anyways...I just love conveyor belt sushi...I just think they are so much fun. So of course I sat at the bar so I can watch the plates of sushi go by . I ordered from the menu as well as getting it from the conveyor belt. The restaurant was busy which is a good sign since you won't see the same piece of sushi revolve 5 times so everything is quite freshly made. From

. I ordered from the menu as well as getting it from the conveyor belt. The restaurant was busy which is a good sign since you won't see the same piece of sushi revolve 5 times so everything is quite freshly made. From the menu I ordered the in season stuff, the swordfish and crab. The swordfish was good but the crab tasted like it was previously frozen. From the belt I got fried shrimp roll, salmon sushi, and something else I forgot. The total came to be $126. Quality was acceptable for the price. I notice that they don't have some kind of picture or grid telling you how much the color plates of sushi cost...maybe where I sat there was not one. The green tea used was green tea powder or matcha so it was delish. The wasabi looks fresh too not the powder stuff. I shall try Genki Sushi.
