My friend and I were just talking about how we missed food from SG and so we decided that if we can’t go there, we can at least have some food from there 😂😂 I saw this brand at K11 musea before but it was pretty packed back then and so I’m so happy that there’s another outlet at taikoo! When we went in we were so amused by all the puns and yet feeling so nostalgic with the rooster bowls they decorated the store with. Really made me feel a lot more like SG for a moment. 🥺We had the chicken rice (

We had the chicken rice (of course) and Bak Kut Teh with mee sua! Which is pretty rare as usually in HK I noticed that they serve it with rice only 🤔 and also Bundung and spring rolls 😋



The chicken rice is what I would rate as the better ones in Hong Kong as the rice has enough flavour on its own and the chicken was served in a generous amount of soya sauce which really allows the chicken to soak up the flavour ☺️ the Bak kut teh was served in the SG style so it was more peppery but flavourful still without being too spicy for me 👍 and omg the you tiao was so crispy and thin that when I dipped it in the soup, I could just eat that for my whole meal!!!! 🤩🤩🤩 the bundung was pretty and good for those who only want a tint of rose taste rather than a full bloom 🤣🤣
