There are loads of newly opened coffee shops in Kowloon City and I am quite impressed by Nan Kok which is a cafe rehabilitated from an old hardware shop. It has kept some of the historical structures with minimalist decoration, it is definitely a chill and instagrammable place.Went there at around 3 PM on a weekday and managed to grab their outdoor seats. Went there at around 3 PM on a weekday and managed to grab their outdoor seats. Their signature iced pandan coffee was surprisingly good. The coffee base was nutty. The pandan syrup flavourful and natural and is not overly sweet. The coffee is topped with a scoop of coconut ice cream. I really like this combination as it enriches the layering and flavour of the drink!
