Came to Kwai Fong to have dim sum witha coworker who lived in this area. Since I was waiting for boyfriend to leave work as we booked a table for dinner in Tsuen Wan, I looked around for somewhere to sit and drink something. That's when I came across here.Usually Arome is a bakery that does take out cakes, bread and a few have take away drinks. But this place is an actual cafe! Usually Arome is a bakery that does take out cakes, bread and a few have take away drinks. But this place is an actual cafe! I looked it up and apparently the only one in Hong Kong! Not only do you get coffee and their drinks and cakes and bread but waffles and pasta! They had set meals. But since it was so close to dinner, I only ordered a drink. But I saw some people had waffles and they looked ok. The pasta smelled yummy as they were cooking it in front of me.
I ordered a matcha azuki bean drink. It was good and tasted like Starbucks matcha azuki drink but cheaper as it was $25 while Starbucks cost $35. There was plenty of azuki beans as well. Wonder if the reason they taste the same is due to the fact that Arome and Starbucks is both run by Maxims?
Will return if here to wait for boyfriend after work. Next time try the food.
