My first time to introduce this 蛇竇 was on Oct 7, 2006. I am surprise that this local tea house is still survive in Mei Foo. Having a lunch or dinner is a "must" when I return to HK. I choose a lunch set - Yangzhou fried rice with hot tea. The Yang Zhou fried rice had a lot of food, such as BBQ pork, shrimps, ham, and spring onion. It has so-called "鑊氣" which tells the difference. If the chef can add tiny bit more salt or chicken powder, that would be one of my "full mark" fired rice. The

They serve good local black tea and their iced lemon tea is pretty good. Since my tooth are not well these days, I gave up iced tea and went for the hot tea with condensed milk. It didn't disappointed me. It still taste well. However, honestly, the standard dropped slightly but still much much better than most of the local tea house.
Since time is not allowed, I can only visit this 蛇竇 once during my June trip in HK.
