We suggested to have Malaysian food for dinner tonight and planned to go to Kedai Kopi Semua Semua. They have few outlets in HK and we went to their Tsim Sha Tsui outlet. It was located at Granville Road, couple of minutes walk from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR.Their decor was of traditional Malaysian coffee shop style such as their table and chair etc. They served a wide range of authentic Malaysian cuisine such as bak kut teh, mee soup, mee kering, nasi lemak, main dish, snacks and drinks etc. Penang Hok

Penang Hokkien prawn mee - The serving was huge in size, with generous portion of vermicelli and yellow noodles in it. Soup was very tasty and rich in flavour, able to taste the essence of the prawn broth. Noodle was cooked till smooth and chewy too. Prawn mee came with pork belly, spinach, bean sprouts, prawn, sliced fish and boiled egg etc. They were chewy and juicy.
Penang assam laksa - I seldom saw this dish in Hong Kong and since we could not travel to Malaysia now, we decided to give it a try. It was quite similar to those I have tasted in Malaysia. Soup was very sour and spicy, appetizing in taste. Thick vermicelli was smooth and juicy too, absorbing the essence of the soup broth. It came with fish, sliced cucumber, lettuce, red onion, pineapple, chilli, mint and shrimp paste.
Roti canal with curry - Roti was toasted till soft and crispy, thin in texture. It goes well with the curry provided, which was thick in texture and flavourful.
Kaya toast was toasted till soft and crispy, with generous serving of kaya in it. Kaya was sweet and fragrant, with strong pandan taste.
