Finally got to try out Pane e Latte at Stanley! — Loved this and definitely lived up to the hype! This indulgent croissant was super light with a crispy exterior and stuffed with a velvety truffled scrambled egg which was perfectly seasoned. Topped with a bit of parmesan cheese, it gave it an extra punch of flavour. The shaved truffles were also quite impressive and aromatic. Would totally have this again and recommend everyone to order this!!
Pic 2️⃣: Raspberry and Pistachio Bomboloni - $45 hkd 🍩
— Couldn’t resist ordering one after seeing how beautiful they looked 😍 This is basically an Italian doughnut filled with crema pasticcera, a super smooth pastry cream that’s lightly sweetened. I was super impressed that there were 2 kinds of filling in this, a rich pistachio cream and a tangy raspberry jam to balance out the sweetness.
Pic 3️⃣: Mango Pistachio Gelato - $108 hkd 🍦
— This was a massive cup of ice cream 😂 that looks and tastes just as good! Composed of a mango and pistachio gelato base, with a rich milk soft serve on top and finished with caramelised pistachios and coconut meringue, this gelato could feed 3-4 people! Personally thought there was a bit too much milk soft serve that it takes a while to get to the gelato 😂 The toppings added a nice crunch and aesthetic value to the dessert as well.
Pic 4️⃣: Capri Pizza - $78 hkd 🍅🍕
— Really good pizza but the base reminded me of a focaccia as it was quite crunchy and had a rich olive oil taste to it. Other than that, the toppings were tasty and also nicely presented.
Pic 5️⃣: Lemonade - $45 hkd 🍋
— Refreshing but a bit too sour for me. Definitely full of lemons and vitamin C 😂
📍Ambiance: Beautiful interior and decor, makes you feel like you’ve gone on holiday temporarily; Staff are very friendly and helpful
⭐️Would visit again?: Yes definitely!
