The good: Pricing is quite affordable for an easy meal. Nice and authentic (all staffs are Thais, as one proof).The bad: Not a lot of variety and sharing plates. What we ordered: See below each item. I actually have been here before and ordered stir fried flat noodle (Pad See Ew). I don't have the photo but that one is also not bad.
We ordered papaya salad with Salted Crab and fermented fish to share. This is super authentic (except that it's not as spicy)! This dish is my personal favourite for the place. A note though is that the fermented fish might not be for every one. If you never tried, it is saltier then your normal papaya salad and has the pungent (but great) smell of the fermented fish.

My main is boat noodle. In all fairness, this is not bad but I wish the broth is thicker. For the price this is fair, but I still think the one at Samsen (Wan Chai) is still the best.

The other main is Kao Soi chicken or Northern Thai curry noodle. This is also great, very authentic, except for the chicken. For some reason they use fried chicken instead of just plainly cooking (boiling) it in the curry itself. Great rich flavour though, so can't complain.

Lastly, we shared a mango sticky rice for dessert. The mango is nice and sweet, but rice is a bit too wet (really tiny bit though) but not too sweet (good thing). Despite that I still recommend this dish due to its affordable price at HKD40.

As mentioned above, this restaurant is great and authentic, but it's really for a quick meal (they have mainly a-la-cart menu), and probably not for a place to have a long meal and "hang out". the decoration is nice and clean with open kitchen so you actually see all the actions inside. One last note I know it's authentic because all staffs are Thai; I ordered in Thai, and heard everyone in kitchen speaking in Thai.
