This is my first time writing an OpenRice review after such a bad experience, which I should really post this and let others "beaware" ofI myself a Korean and lived in Hong Kong for 10+ years which I usually enjoy dining in Korean restraunts every week. My Honest Review (Dined in for a Buffet meal; 4 people; Male)
Quantity of the Food:
- You have to keep constantly order food for the whole dine in time!!
- If you order 1 set of beef, they will give you "4" slides of meat which takes 10 minutes. We basically had to order 20+ times for a proper meat meal which is crazy. They should either serve you a proper quantity of sufficient meal when ordered OR; have some place where customers can go get their own food at some counter place. Too frustrating and time consuming; This way of serving you will never imagine to happen either in Korea or any HKG K-shops. Not sure what the management is thinking. I am just worried many HKG people will think this is the way how Korean food are served from a customer service POV.
*Same for other non-Meat meals; whole time of dining was about ordering food.
Taste:
- This may differ, I think a lot of the Korean restaurants in HK try to accustom to the local HKG taste style (sweet & non-spicy).
- Wont say too much, I wont come here again and I know there are much better places in TST or CWB, I will go there.
- The price was very cheap 118 HKD person: Price = Taste. YOU Get what you paid for.
*The soups (된장찌개, 김치찌개, 순두부찌개) were good. Non-Main dishes such as Spicy Rice cakes (떡볶이) were edible.
Service:
- The people were very nice, regardless of our frustrated and demanding orders we made.
Price:
- As per mentioned, very cheap for a Korean food for that quantity you order for a buffet (118 HKD). Usually this is not true you usually pay 200-300HKD per person for other places in HKG.
Overall review? 1 out of 5. Done.
