meats are unexpectedly delicious, the smoked duck breast is fantastic, and also the ham. yet it’s pretty awkward to see the highlights are on meat for a dessert buffet.
i must not miss out the dearest banana gelato. indeed i am glad that, as a free ‘gift’, banana was chosen. personally i do not favour it much, yet the texture and the taste are simply a perfect match. it is soft and creamy with original banana smell and taste. you definitely know it is not artificially favoured.
i chose hot mocha as my set drink. i am not an expert for coffee, so no professional comment. After all i think it tastes real, you know that comes from good coffee beans unlike the big brand ones. It tastes rich too.
Advice:
better schedule for picking foods, taste light stuff first, don’t touch the creamy ones until you have enough of others
perhaps the cova in causeway bay is better. in this shop,i saw some flying bugs around the cakes. furthermore, the environment is not pleasant with loads of passer-bys and christmas carols being sang loudly.
