In summary, yummy meal. I would suggest requesting a table on the side (more peaceful), as opposed to sitting right in the middle of the dining hall.

Tried this fancy and beautiful french cuisine on the last day of restaurant week.
I have always wanted to try, and finally it comes a chance with such good deal, $488 pp for 3 courses dinner set.

What we ordered:
Starter - snails with garlic butter, thinly sliced octopus with lemon oil
Mains: pork with chimichurri, lamb cutlet (added $98 for this)
Dessert: cheesecake, thin crust apple tart with vanilla icecream
I also ordered their signature french toast which is not on their restaurant week menu.

I love the snails so much, I pour all the garlic butter on the bread, it was so so good!
The sourness of the octopus was perfect for my liking, a perfect dish as a starter.
The lamb was super tender and juicy, literally is the best lamb cutler that I ever tried. The pork was just so so though, it was a bit too tough and chewy in the centre, which I expected would be more tender.
Last but not least, their desserts were all amazing. MUST order their french toast, you shouldn’t miss it if you come to LPM, the best french toast ever, so soft and tender inside and love the caramelised crust! The cheesecake may look dull and simple, but it taste so good, so smooth, and not too sweet. The apple tart was not as mind blowing, but still not bad. If you only have little room for dessert, go for the french toast.

They also have a variety of wine/cocktail choices, I was quite surprised about the price range for the wine, there are lots affordable choices, relatively cheaper than what I expect from such fancy resto.
I ordered 1 carafe 500ml of white wine for $200 only.

Overall, I think LPM is such a decent place to go for a date/friends birthday gatherings, great service, authentic and yummy food, and nice environment.

嚟LPM必食escargot 法國蝸牛,佢調配嘅香草汁帶少少甜,完全提鮮左escargot嘅味道,每次都留定啲麵包沾滿escargot嘅汁食主菜方面,試過羊架,豬柳同牛扒,我個人推介牛扒,超juicy 同好有肉香,拍得住其他一級steakhouse講番配菜,好多人會試八爪魚,係好食鮮甜,但想特別啲可以揀法國邊豆配鵝肝,唔好比佢外表嚇親,完全無草青味,非常清甜可口。呢度嘅份量夠,記得留肚食甜品。

悠閒的星期六來個法國🇫🇷lunch入到去嘅第一感覺簡潔優雅舒服,餐廳以白色為主好寬敞,唔會有侷促感覺,充滿法國風情有feel,服務員態度好到不得了,前菜店員會比成個未切嘅蕃茄(自己切)麵包你自己可以加橄欖油或醋,食完開胃醒神法國田螺配上牛油龍龍嘅香草感覺新鮮又好味😋Tuna tartare 啲材料好新鮮加埋啲脆脆好有口感😋Roast baby chicken 口感都唔錯好柔滑😋整體上全部嘢食都好好食有質素👍🏻👍🏻

LPM was my favourite restaurant for a long long time when I lived in London. I used to go and pre-order the chicken and loved the warm octopus/ crevettes, fries etc. It was an awesome location and equally awesome restaurant.I wasn't particularly keen on ever going to LPM in HK as I didn't think it could be as good. But I thought I'd try during restaurant week as the HK$488 menu seemed like a good deal. Menu was pretty good and included some of their signature dishes. Food itself was OK/ Go

I wasn't particularly keen on ever going to LPM in HK as I didn't think it could be as good. But I thought I'd try during restaurant week as the HK$488 menu seemed like a good deal. Menu was pretty good and included some of their signature dishes. Food itself was OK/ Good. Starters were good, warm prawns and escargot. Mains were OK, lamb and gnocchi. They pre-warned us that the gnocchi was softer than usual. To me it sounded like they just overcooked it and made up an excuse. The desserts were OK. My cheesecake was light and refreshing with the berry compote. It's not a baked cheesecake so to me, always seems like a bit of a cop out but it was nice enough. My dining partner had the apple tart which looked pretty but taste was underwhelming.

However, this restaurant gets a low rating as their treatment during our seating was just poor. Literally, they were on you as you took your last forkful of food. They were super rushed to get you out. We ate so quickly (ie within an hour), we actually had 10 mins to spare before needing to give up table and they still rushed the bill to us. I've never been to a restaurant where there was such a disparity in treatment between regular paying guests and "deal" guests. Pretty shameful really as I am sure that as a customer paying full menu price, the experience would have differed a lot.

A perfect infusion of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Datterini tomatoes were fresh with a delightful topping with basils

Snails were baked in just the right timing. It was well flavoured with garlic and heavenly buttered.

CALAMARS FRITS $138
Deep Fried Baby Squid were crunchy on the outside and soft inside. It was well seasoned.

PORC SAGABUTA GRILLÉ $368
Grilled Sagabuta Pork were unexpectedly tender. I was amazed that pork did not have the normal smell which i don’t really like. Definitely worth a try!

ENTRECÔTE GRILLÉE $568
Grilled Rib Eye Steak (400gr) It went as expected. Medium rare w a fair combination of fats and muscles. It was surprisingly rare that the steak was not as attractive when compared to the pork.

TARTE FINE AUX POMMES $118
Thin Crust Apple Tart with Vanilla Ice Cream tasted fair to me.

CRÈME BRÛLÉE À LA VANILLE $118
The Vanilla Crème Brûlée were in a large portion, which made it easier to share among friends!

Overall, the food were in good quality with great service! The waiters were really nice and I had a great night there!😚

有專人捧住麵包籃遊走餐廳,提供法式麵包同埋全穀物法式麵包選擇,除咗橄欖油、黑醋、牛油之外,特別在於送上原個番茄同埋檸檬,配埋一把刀俾客人自己切😂。
侍應話呢個係法國人嘅做法,自己未去過法國就唔太清楚🙈不過的確係幾有趣嘅體驗。
佢哋嘅黑醋真係好好食,配埋酸酸地嘅蕃茄、檸檬的確一流。

Restaurant week lunch Menu冇招牌蝸牛🐌不過都有呢一款必試嘅八爪魚🐙。
自己冇咁鍾意炸物,所以呢一款更得我心!
薄切嘅八爪魚片口感軟滑,近乎入口即溶,配上橄欖油檸檬汁等等香料,非常複雜美味☺️!

的確比起我喺歐洲食過嘅係腍身得多,係入口即刻溶開。但一向鍾意煙韌嘅我居然都覺得好出色🤩。
另外配埋酸酸甜甜微稠嘅番茄醬,真係好好食!

揀咗medium rare,切開一啲血水都冇,望落想像中熟,誰不知入口非常嫩,真係好似食緊BB羊嘅肉咁😍!
羊羶味剛好,配上用茄子整成嘅醬汁,調味唔會太濃,所有嘢恰到好處。

香港較為少見嘅甜品。一般係以蛋糕形式呈上,但呢度改為一粒粒好似雪糕咁😂。
主要用上ricotta cheese同埋杏仁膏mazipan,再加上買一啲果仁粒同埋黑朱古力脆片,味道新奇得來又幾夾。
另外好鍾意佢哋個口感,介乎於雪糕同埋sorbet之間,有種入口即溶花嘅感覺😚!

整體來講,絕對係唔錯嘅體驗🥰雖然賣相唔會特別花巧,但每一道菜既保留到食物嘅原味又好食。雖然今次未試到佢哋嘅招牌蝸牛同埋法式吐司甜品,但已經留有唔錯嘅印象,絕對會想再次造訪!

主菜我哋嗌咗羊架同gnocchi!我唔食羊但一上菜都聞到好香!嗌medium一切開入面係粉紅色👍Gnocchi我覺得全香港喺呢度最好食!除咗麵粉呢度會加薯仔令到佢好鬆軟,食哂一碟都覺得唔夠😋

最後甜品我哋嗌左Apple Tart 同Cassata。好味但同呢度嘅French Toast真係冇得比!😍

有一排冇嚟過,爭啲忘記咗佢,朋友請食晏,揀咗呢一度,食咗一頓豐富高質嘅午餐。其實呢度環境真係幾舒適,又唔會好嘈,傾偈幾好。枱上面有幾個蕃茄,一個檸檬,一支橄欖油,服務員俾咗麵包我之後,我就利用呢啲材料,整咗個類似個tomato bruschetta比自己。先來幾個前菜share,中規中矩,不過beetroot salad就少咗啲。主菜叫咗grilled whole seabream和ribeye,魚好大條,服務員俾我哋睇咗條魚之後,攞咗去幫我哋去骨,去得好乾淨,賣相唔錯,冇腥味,好夠肉。牛扒肉質好靚,燒得啱啱好。另外嗌咗個薯條,炸得好靚,又脆又好味,雖然真係幾貴,不過香港好少餐廳做得到。最後嘅甜品亦都相當精彩,夠份量,好好味😋,整體服務亦都唔錯,不久將來會再嚟。
