I came here with my family. I visit discovery bay very often and we have tried many restaurants here, this is one of the best!The thai food here is very nice, a lot of flavour and the dishes are beautiful.We really love the curry here as well as the skewers. These are what we recommended for first time visitors.The curry crab and spicy fried vegetables are also our favourite. Visit this restaurant if you are looking for some very nice thai food on a nice evening in Discovery Bay.

禮拜日入愉景灣兜一轉友人介紹下去左呢間泰國野食個lunch環境氣氛唔錯燒羊架肉質無疑十足彈牙。生熟程度接觸完美調味味道唔錯。但稍欠羊本身既“蘇“味8/10 分椰汁味濃及有小小咸味幾新鮮。岩我口味椰青多水多肉。9/10 分金牌冬陰公海鮮湯無左表面既紅油但保留原味。令到感覺無禁油膩口味上比較偏酸。都ok足料。完全無保留8/10 分馬沙文咖喱雞飯比較失望。汁比較稀。雞比較“鞋”雞似白烚後放入咖哩吸收唔到咖哩味。荀重多過雞2/10分香辣肉碎炒飯 牛飯唔會太濕又唔會太辣恰到好處暫時算係我食過之中最好既香辣肉碎炒飯

The food was above average, but not worth the money. For the price we paid, the service was bad. All but one waitress was unfriendly. Rest too busy playing around. The price includes 10% service fee which they would not have gotten if tip is voluntary. Will not go back for sure. All in all, not worth it!

已是第2次幫襯,上次食佢既黃咖哩炒蟹一流。想食蟹平日去要預訂先,大約1份3百多,睇幾重。今日食其他野。十分推介生蝦刺身,必點!十分肉厚爽脆,醬汁獨特很夾,偏辣的,少辣真係要講左先,伴碟有涼瓜,全盤吃光,唔食走寶。金牌冬蔭公。必點!與平時其他店冬蔭公不過是少了紅油,外貌如海鮮清湯一般,但辣度不變。外面不是間間都食到,又健康些。唯一海鮮是雪藏的。馬拉盞通菜,有鑊氣,味道一流! 很想encore, 吃清光之作。濃香咖哩,比椰香咖哩杰身,有花生碎,帶點甜,十分香濃!送飯,撈面很好!但雞卻叫人失望,雪藏雞胸,較鞋,可選其他。2人吃得很滿足!泰國藉服務生態度友善。

金牌冬蔭公。必點!與平時其他店冬蔭公不過是少了紅油,外貌如海鮮清湯一般,但辣度不變。外面不是間間都食到,又健康些。唯一海鮮是雪藏的。

又到了我最愛的週末,又是和男友外出郊遊的好日子。今天興致勃勃的由梅窩走到愉景灣,花了大概一個多小時,此段路不難行,惟開段要無間斷的拾級而上,需一定的體力應付。大約三十分鐘到達一個山頂涼亭後,基本上最辛苦的已熬過了,餘下的只有下山和平路,好不輕鬆。沿路和男友聊東聊西唱唱歌,走著走著很快便到愉景灣碼頭。到達之時已差不多三時半,還未吃正餐的我倆決定找家餐廳放鬆一下,本來在這兒的感覺是摸摸酒杯底,但是日不想喝酒,見這店評分不錯,就來這泰國菜館試試看。被安排到戶外靠邊的二人桌,望海的感覺特別舒適寫意。菜單的選擇頗多,光是沙律已有兩頁可選,而小食、肉、海鮮、菜、飯麵等亦一應俱全,看得饑腸轆轆的我倆口水直流。Mixed Satay $84喜歡這兒可以選擇雞、牛、豬各兩串,滿足什麼都想嚐嚐的我倆。串燒燒得焦香,醃得入味,加上偏辣的沙嗲汁好不惹味。可惜牛肉串有一般的詬病:肉切得太薄身致有點鞋口,下次還是只點雞和豬好了。Grilled beef salad $88因時間不早了,不想吃太多以致沒胃口吃晚餐;怎料這個沙律份量會這麼足,一大兜的牛肉伴上生菜夾來吃,每一份的牛肉都要放得滿滿才能平均地把其清碟。牛肉

因時間不早了,不想吃太多以致沒胃口吃晚餐;怎料這個沙律份量會這麼足,一大兜的牛肉伴上生菜夾來吃,每一份的牛肉都要放得滿滿才能平均地把其清碟。牛肉下了魚露、青檸、香茅、蔥頭、金不換等香料作調味,味道層次豐富,牛肉不會煮得過老,仍能保持鮮嫩有肉汁,用生菜伴著吃感覺清新。

泰式炒金邊粉是我們去泰國菜館必點的菜式,豆干、蝦肉、雞蛋、菜甫等配料和略帶韌性的金邊粉炒在一起,鑊氣夠亦不油,整體來說不錯,惟偏甜了些少。(試了好幾間菜館,暫時還是新蒲崗的好運較對胃口,大家有興趣可試試看。)

吃泰菜大多人要不喝青檸梳打,要不喝三色冰珍多冰,而我則崇尚較自然的椰青。椰青大大個,椰子汁滿得快要溢出似的,味道天然清甜,輕輕一刮椰肉便甩出來,那我們不客氣的把其吃過一乾二淨,非常滋味。

吃得非常滿足,埋單連加一三百二十塊,還可以換取兩張免費船票返中環,以此地段來說還算相宜。坐著坐著居然有在泰國渡假的感覺,數數手指也有兩年多沒和男友一同外出看世界了,可時能再有機會呢?期待著。

我們最常點的Khao Ob Mapraow 椰盅焗海鮮咖喱飯($118),上來分為兩部分,椰盅飯那邊,椰青挖了肉加了在炒飯當中,炒飯在椰青內堆得高高的,份量十足。海鮮紅咖哩帶輕輕的辣,跟椰奶混和後更覺辛中帶甘。海鮮包括蝦球和青口各兩片,魷魚六片。不論椰盅飯還是紅咖喱的部分,都非常討好。喜歡吃飯的美祿幾乎每次都要求點這個。

Singha wings($60/3pc),雞翼燒得皮脆肉嫩,用上泰國勝獅啤酒醃過,更多了分啤酒麥香,跟雞肉也是出奇的合拍。美祿說這燒雞翼在泰國十分受歡迎,想不到在香港可以吃到水準接近的出品。我本不太喜歡吃雞翼,但這個真的很美味,加上美祿又在減肥,三隻雞翼給我乾乾淨淨的吃了兩隻。

Pad Thai 泰國炒米粉($74),金邊粉掛上甜甜酸酸的醬汁,滑嫩不油膩。蝦仁、蛋絲、豆干、芽菜和花生碎份量平均,跟金邊粉拌在一起味道十分合拍。吃前不忘擠了點青檸汁在面,更添清新。

我和美祿的最愛,Khao Niew Mamuang 香芒黑白糯米($58)。黑白糯米各是雪糕球般大小,上頭蓋以椰漿。一口芒果酸接一口糯米甜,爽身果肉與軟糯在嘴內融和再化開,是多麼曼妙的感覺。即使前頭吃得再飽我們也堅持要點這客甜點。

我從沒到過泰國,不懂判斷這裡的菜式正宗與否,但這裡鐵定是我光顧過最喜歡的泰菜館。美祿比我熟悉東南亞菜百倍,就連他也說這裡是他在香港最愛到的泰菜館。亦因為這裡令我對泰菜生了興趣,萌生了訪泰的念頭。介紹給大家,喜歡泰菜的要是來愉景灣千萬要試,但因為它的座位有限,經常爆滿,注意週末繁忙時間來的話切記要預早訂位。

From the moment our waitress took our drinks order, the vibe was bad. She was impatient and unfriendly. We were not being indecisive either. We shrugged it off, thinking perhaps she was just in a bad mood. The food arrived. My two year old daughter accidentally dropped her bowl on the floor. Another member of staff came over to clean up the mess on the floor loudly cursing in Thai and English. It was obvious she was complaining about the mess, I looked at her bemused with her outwardly obnoxious

It was obvious she was complaining about the mess, I looked at her bemused with her outwardly obnoxious attitude and she asked me rudely how the accident happened. I replied that our two year old accidentally dropped her bowl, it was not done on purpose and that is what children sometimes do. She shouted back angrily, cursing us. Even as she walked away to the kitchen she continued to curse, muttering loudly to her colleagues. 

We asked another staff member if we could speak to the manager and were told that the rude woman who'd just shouted at her customers - over the spilling of food by a two year old - was 'the boss'! Whether that was true or just her colleagues protecting her, we will not know. But we told her frankly if she is really the boss then she's a terrible one for shouting at her customers like that. Shocking behaviour. Bad for business.

Absolutely awful service. We will never go back.

一家大細每逢暑假期間都會攪一個短trip去放鬆一下。記得有一年到了屯門黃金海岸酒店住了一夜,是好玩得不亦樂乎。今年太座又心思思再斬多四両,不過計過數後有感不太化算。正在感到猶豫之際,此時居於愉景灣的細姨媽說在那裡有便宜一點的渡假屋出租。在經過她搭路之下,花費了不多便租到了一所五百多呎的望山景小屋,實在是一樁樂事....一連兩天留在愉景灣,吃的選擇自不然離不開這地方。聽了小姨媽的地膽推介,來到這一間有廣闊海景相伴用餐的泰菜店....是日下着毛毛細雨好不掃興,走過來時也有點狼狽的。走入店中,空無一人,就只得幾位泰籍侍應在閒聊。下雨天再加上是平日,有此冷清的情況出現亦是可預料得到....餐牌的選擇大多是正常泰菜館內必備的如串燒、冬蔭公及咖喱等。為了遷就一下不能吃刺激性食物的小友,便叫了一道完全不辣的菠蘿炒飯及椰香什菜給他。另外的雞肉串燒及咖喱牛肉,則是為大朋友而設....未吃之先先來兩個飲品來消消暑。青檸梳打的糖漿是另加的,這安排與平常喝的大有不同。青檸汁下得相當足夠,入口雖酸得人咪眼但與入喉清爽的梳打水配合起來卻是相當的得宜...椰青是一如所料的夠清甜解渴,絕對是消暑之妙品....雞肉串本

是日下着毛毛細雨好不掃興,走過來時也有點狼狽的。走入店中,空無一人,就只得幾位泰籍侍應在閒聊。下雨天再加上是平日,有此冷清的情況出現亦是可預料得到....

餐牌的選擇大多是正常泰菜館內必備的如串燒、冬蔭公及咖喱等。為了遷就一下不能吃刺激性食物的小友,便叫了一道完全不辣的菠蘿炒飯椰香什菜給他。另外的雞肉串燒咖喱牛肉,則是為大朋友而設....

未吃之先先來兩個飲品來消消暑。青檸梳打的糖漿是另加的,這安排與平常喝的大有不同。青檸汁下得相當足夠,入口雖酸得人咪眼但與入喉清爽的梳打水配合起來卻是相當的得宜...

雞肉串本身沒有加入辣粉去調味,所以小友也可爭食埋一份了。每件雞肉的件頭是甚為充足的,吃了兩三串之後已開始有些飽腹感;肉雖是雪的但燒得既嫩滑又多汁且有濃濃的黄薑粉末味,十分出色;沙嗲醬汁是略帶微甜而不辣,惹味得很。混入了不少花生碎的它更是引人非常....

椰香什菜的賣相像是將一大團杰杰的椰漿堆在雜菜上,看起來是有點奇怪及不對勁,不過由於那椰漿嗅及嚐起來是椰味十足且沒有想像中的黏口杰身,所以用之配起不同款的菜蔬如甜豆、椰菜又或是西蘭花皆甚可口....

咖喱是明符其實的夠晒香濃,是極能伴飯及naan的一道菜。質地是濃稠而有極重的香茅氣味,甜中帶辣的很夠惹味;牛肉更是難能可貴的全沒有後期加工的踪跡,雖是有點嚡口卻是肉味滿盈,好吃得緊....

小友專用的炒飯也是不錯 ---- 炒飯連材料是真的盛於被"大開中門"的新鮮原個菠蘿裡頭,一點也沒有欺場,飯因而食起來也帶少許菠蘿獨有的微微酸甜的夏日水果氣息。飯粒本身有少許偏濕但不會太爛;材料則主要有雞柳及魷魚兩款,前者是稍覺嚡口但後者就真的是十分軟淰無渣。至於洒在飯面上的腰果粒及肉鬆若然可重手一些就更佳....

一向對愉景灣市集一帶的食肆沒大好感。想不到這間泰菜館做出來的卻甚有功架.....在此真要多謝半個東南亞菜專家的細姨媽的好介紹....

My family and I have eaten here at least 40 times, and the food is not only authentic but it's also really, really good eating. There's simply nothing they do poorly. The atmosphere is laid back, the staff are friendly, and most tables have a good view overlooking the water or the beach.

Whenever we go there I always start by ordering a round of cold mango juice. It's the best I've had anywhere- including Bangkok or Phuket. Very sweet, just the right thickness, but also tangy so it seems as though it's mixed with some other juice than mango - perhaps orange juice? Whatever it is, it makes for a helluva good tasting drink and my kids go crazy for it.

As I said before, I enjoyed everything I've had there but if I had to mention true favorite, something I order almost every time I go there, it would be the deep fried shrimp appetizer (it's different than the fried shrimp entree). Nothing fancy, but always satisfying. It's crusted in a kind of panko crust that is perfectly crispy, the shrimp are quite meaty and they're never overly greasy, and it's served with a simple sweet/sour sauce. If you like heat, as I do, mix some dried red pepper flakes in with the sauce. STELLAR!

The curries are great, the pork stew is outstanding, my wife goes crazy over the whole fish, and the pineapple fried rice is always a hit with my kids and our friends' kids as well. Same goes for the deep fried shrimp (prawn for most of you out there) cakes.

One thing though- don't expect to walk up and get a table here on the weekend without waiting a long while. Even during lunch the place is packed and it never seems to slow down. We typically make reservations for our family on Thursday evening for the weekend.

Overall, in the 5+ years my wife and I have lived here in HK, and the hundreds of restaurants we've dined at, this is still our favorite by far.

The food is always good, the service is the best you can find in DB, and the wine card is interesting enough to always go for that rather than Singha! As a regular you are welcomed everytime you come and when you bring children they are well taken care of ("You want a bowl of steam rice NOW for the little one? One moment please... Here you go. We go here often and these are some of our favorites: for starters the vegtable spring rolls, the chicken in panadus leaves, the satay are all very authentic. I could go on reciting the whole menu card... Just go there and try for yourself - then tell all your friends that yes there is indeed a reason to go to Discovery Bay to dine!

Went there with a group of friends last Saturday evening - our first visit in more than 3 years.Booking - understandably, they are very busy on weekends and thus have a funny system of bookings, either 6pm or 8pm. Decor - high ceilings, looking out to the beach with trees in the distance, no faults there apart from the tightly packed tables.

Service - attentive, efficient, no complaints at all.

The menu is typical of most other Thai restaurants in Hong Kong, no surprises there. Most of the dishes served at your local Thai restaurants can be found here - prawn cake, fish cake, beef salad, pamelo salad, satays, tom yum, curries, etc.

I am a great fan of Thai food. To be frank, I have tasted much worse but I have also tasted better ones in Hong Kong. The seasonings and the way the dishes are prepared and presented are rather typical of the ones you find in Kowloon City but probably at 200% of their prices. No doubt money is not an issue to the expatriates living in DB but for that kind of prices I would expect a little more - a little more flexibility on bookings, a little more space between the tables, a little more difference in the presentation, a little bigger portion, and more importantly, a little more care in giving an authentic touch to one of the best cuisine in the world. This restaurant does a great disservice to the food culture in Thailand.

Would I go again? Yes, as the other restaurants in DB also have nothing much to write home on so this one is probably a tad better than the rest.

我同朋友諗住去下愉景灣行下同食野兼count down, 我朋友訂左呢度食buffet, 坐左出面, 雖然超凍, 但都無影響我地既心情, 我地都估唔到d野真係好好食, d蝦餅~正! 串燒~正! 豬頸肉超正, 同出面果d泰國菜真係唔到架, d豬頸肉記得唔好沾醬料喎,如果唔係佢本身既味就無左架喇,因為佢本身已經係超正架喇!! 同埋佢d醬汁又係同出面果d唔同架, 呢度d "結" d, 出面果d "希"到咩咁, 如果再有機會都會再去。
