Despite its looks, this shop actually cooks up a decent bowl of goose rice.The flavors here are exotic, and homey. Goose meat is lean, balanced-ly marinated, and juicy. Pairing with a half egg, pickled vegetables, tofu and normal vegetables, this dish is a delectable lunch hour top up.That said, I would avoid the soup noodles, which was surprising to me as the goose rice is way ahead in comparison. After finishing my appointment, I decided to head for lunch and seeing that 鵝王 was opened not long ago, I decided to give it a try. It was located at Gough Street, near the famous Kau Kee store. As the name of the shop suggested, it specialize in goose, serving goose parts, noodle and rice. Beside that, they served Chaoshan's fishballs and meatballs etc. Iced coffee with tea - It was silky smooth and milky, with strong coffee taste.
