早幾個星期落好大雨,係銅鑼灣搵食都唔係咁易,係完全唔洗預先book位情況下,黎到coast舒舒服服咁坐低。餐牌菜色款款都好似幾吸引,本來想試下佢地既生蠔同海鮮併盤,但因為第二日要出trip關係,都係唔好搏得太盡!所以都係單點左幾款小食,同叫左一jug sangria, 三個人飲都可以飲到兩杯多,甜甜地啱晒女士慢慢傾慢慢飲,略嫌酒精濃度較淡,比較似飲近果汁。食物就叫左雞翼、磨菇焗蠔、蟹餅、薯條,雞翼非常香脆,是不錯的送酒食物,大磨菇本身都幾厚肉好林,配以醬汁同焗蠔,兩者都幾夾,口感都幾好,味道不錯。最後既蟹餅都幾鮮味,配以沙律醬吃,味道很好。全部食物質素滿意,份量全部都係細細碟的,價錢相對不是太便宜,但銅鑼灣黎講都差不多啦,服務質素都唔錯,飲野食飯都可以試試!

The CWB food walk had really established itself over the last year. When I came here a year ago, everything was still under construction; now, it's a party at night! Environment :
The location is great, right in the middle of CWB food walk with tons of atmosphere. The place is clean, bright, and comfy. The only complaint I have is that there are too many people smoking seating outdoors, so for non smokers, we can't enjoy sitting outside.

Food :
Swordfish? Swordfish burger! I have never eaten swordfish before, so I decided to try it. Honestly, pretty disappointing because I couldn't taste the fish at all. The spicy sauce overtook the taste of the fish, making the whole thing tasting kind of bland. The fries however was amazing. Thin cut and crispy, with just enough salt for seasoning and making it one of the tastiet restaurant fries I've eaten in HK.

We also had the mushroom risotto, which was pretty good. Not too much oil, just the right tenderness to the rice. Most risotto are undrcooked and too hard, but they made it great with just the right chewiness to them. A lot of vege and a good mix of sauce without being too creamy.

與老朋友在銅鑼灣找地方可以邊食邊傾,而且又要有戶外地方方便他們’呼吸’,行了幾個熱門食肆商場,最終找到在加寧街的新餐廳食地中海菜. 天氣有點點涼意,坐在戶外也舒服不熱. 我們叫了Iced Peach Tea, Fish & Chips, 黑松露什菇Risotto及烤香腸薯蓉. 甜品叫了朱古力心太軟, 各樣款式味道中上,Iced Peach Tea 大杯解渴又開胃,仲有2片蜜桃. 最欣賞仍是Risotto, 黑松露的濃濃香味令成個飯的水準和層次提高了,果然沒有令我欠失望! 我們又食又傾不知不覺坐了4個鐘! 看到隔離幾枱都叫了’海鮮拼盤’,有長腳蟹,龍蝦等,賣相吸引,好似好受歡迎,下次我們都會試下,間唔時要寵下自己嘛!

A good start of rainy Monday with creamy mushroom soup and fresh garlic bread as starter. For mains, we opted for Lobster Roll served with pineapple salad and French fries($158). The fresh lobester was a bit over cooked but it tasted good with the homemade #Mayo. Fries started to get soft and soggy as they cool off. What disappointed me most is my all time favourite:Vongole (clams Linguine, Garlic and basil). colourful presentation yet the pasta sauce tasted quite blend and boring no matter how fresh and sweet its clams were; I just couldn't stop myself adding DROPSSSS of Tabasco for the right spiciness and sourness for seafood.

Jamon Iberico Ham- one of the best food on earth. The texture is smooth and rich, savory taste.  The winelist in Coast is extensive enough to pair with all dishes. 

Oysters- The freshly-shucked creamy osyters in their own salty juices nestling in their half shells. Gorgerous!

Herbs and Sun-dried Tomato Baguette- Sizzling hot and crusty while bread inside is sponge.  It was served togther with the black truffle butter.  You simply want it again.

 The clams are fresh, even sweet with no trace of fishiness. We slurped up the broth after finishing all the meaty clams.

Garlin Prawns with Chilli- This one is a guaranteed dish. Buttery and frangrant King Prawns.

Spinach and Mozzarella in Fillo Pastry- the layering of baked fillo is perfect while the spinach and Mozzarella blended ah-maz-ing together.

Main Courses-

Grilled US OP  Rye Eye Steak (30oz)

The size and the presentation of the Steak totally "wow" us. The steak was lean and served on a stone plate, very impressive. The steak was  cooked to perfection and the new potato on ths side also tasted great in its natual flavor.

Iberico Pork Rack

The loin rank is the finest part of the Iberico pork, succulant and tender.

On the side

Broken egg on French Fries

Must try on the Menu.  They made French Fries like no where else.  The egg was fried the white are crispy and the yolk in melting out on the french fries. We ordered 2 potions.

Dessert Time

 Did not get the names of the dessert as they were recommendation from the restaurant caption. But make sure you get to try the apply pastries and the banana dessert.

First evening did not start well. Ordered two types of oyster to start, after a wait, told they are not available, but the two most expensive types were. Suggested that they take the unavailable ones off the blackboard to prevent confusion with other diners, was roundly ignored. Fish&Chips were just nasty. Soggy batter and dry/tasteless, frozen? fish. Chips were good. Server didn't bother to ask why half the plate was left uneaten. Guess she didn't care.

check shirt and tatty jeans, asked how our meal was and seemed uninterested in our appraisal.

Our second visit was no better.The anchovy bruscetta would have been better with crisp not soggy toast. The fish pie arrived in the smallest serving dish I have ever seen for a main course of comfort food like this. Was literally slightly bigger than an Iphone! Pic attached. Instead of the traditional mashed potato topping there was a dry piece of pastry/biscuit. The swordfish burger was served with huge bun and ungenerous portion of the dry fish. The new manager, young and slightly camp, did not even bother to ask how our meal was, I guess he simply didn't care either! For $650 inc a couple drinks and water we felt robbed.
題外話/補充資料: The beer was good and cold.

This massive seafood platter has a Boston lobster, snow crab legs, oysters, carabineros, scampi, whelks, scallop sashimi, hamachi sashimi, manila clams, sea urchin. Perfect for sharing among 3-4 people.

There were 6 Oysters from 3 countries, we just had it straight up without any condiments as we preferred their original taste. We liked the Gillardeau as it is the creamiest in texture and the richest in flavour.

It was a great way for everyone, from whisky beginners to alcoholics, to find out what your absolute preference is. They have over 50 different whisky from all over the world. We started off with the very anticipated Japanese whisky, then the very surprising and uncommon Taiwan whisky which we had never tried before, it then got better and better after it hit Highland regions. We enjoyed it very much especially the Scottish ones. Most importantly, we got to understand a lot more about our palette and our preferred drinks.

If you don't like it straight up, you may also try other whisky cocktails on the menu. We chose Bourbon Earlgrey Martini, it tasted like summer fiesta, which was perfect for ladies who like sweeter drinks in this hot weather.

Deep Fried Oyster Burger with Tartar Sauce ($145)

There were two giant American oysters in one burger! The oysters were very juicy and moist even after deep fried! Although, the fries were a bit soggy after sitting for too long, but it still went well with the seasoned tartar sauce. In fact, the oysters tasted bwith the sauce too!

Grilled meat is one of the signature dishes of the restaurant. This rib eye steak was tender and juicy. Did you see how sexy the pink meat is? How could we resist this temptation?

Paper Wrapper Seabass with potatoes, cherry tomato, olives and anchovies ($175)

This Mediterranean inspired dish was seasoned with rosemary, fried garlic, and thyme, garnished with olives and baby potatoes. Compared to other seabass dishes, this is quite light as the restaurant emphases the original flavour of the food itself. Everything was good but the potatoes were quite under-seasoned.

Caution: The fish is freshly cooked therefore scales and bones are complimentary!
