餐廳方面很細心,知道我們是share的,上是已分成兩份。

第一個主菜是龍蝦意大利飯,龍蝦肉爽脆、龍蝦汁鮮味濃郁,每粒飯也被包圍著。只差在飯身煮得較腍,沒有意大利飯應有的口感。

第二、三個主菜雖然同時放在一碟,賣相亦不馬虎。第一時間先切開羊架,落刀時已知羊肉鮮嫩無比,入口亦如是,只是欠缺少少肉汁。

茄汁龍蝦意粉,醬汁很濃稠,味道好正宗。可惜意粉強差人意,絕對稱不上是一間意大利餐廳的水準,沒有al dente之餘,難聽的說似港式茶餐廳貨式。

晚餐的甜品甜品併盤,款式與法國餐廳一樣,有奶凍、自家製意大利雪榚、Tiramisu、朱古力布甸及紅酒杏脯。

一個甜品當然不夠,再加一個朱古力軟心蛋榚伴紅花雪榚及紅酒布,一切開那個軟心蛋榚,朱古力醬不斷湧出,朱古力香濃不甜,還夾雜著淡淡的橙香,味道豐富。自家製的紅花雪榚亦很特別,味道難以形容。

尾聲時奉上細細粒的朱古力雪榚及軟心朱古力作終結。

其實有少許失望,主要因為一間算頗有名氣的意大利餐廳,竟然一道簡單的意大利飯及意粉亦煮得不好,不知是一時失手,抑或平時也是如此。

Had a dinner there of 12 persons & booked a private room; settings are fine with classy decor., however, i would say the dishes are in cantonese style & it's hard to say that they are serving italian food. English standard of servers are needed to improve too. Overall speaking, if you wanna have an authentic italian with great view & excellent, there are lots of options in town.

As we have earned some cash coupons after dining at the terrible Angelini's in September , we decided to try the Nicholini's for the first time last evening .Everything was just average. Everything was just average. I would give atmost 3 over 5 for the dishes we've tried, including white truffle risotto, lobster salad, veal shank and US tenderloin. The price of the food menu was certainly one of the tops compared to most other five star hotels, though a cheaper three course set menu at HK$680 [plus 10% service charge] was offered.
One astonishing thing we noticed was the most marked up wine list . . . I would say around 200% more than the retail price, while most other 5 star hotels [in HK, at least] will add roughly 75% to 100%. That means one can find only very few fine wines on the list . . . I suppose very few would be willing to pay for that! On the bright side, one can BYOB at a corkage charge of HK$300.

每年有white asparagus 的時候都一定會去Nicholini\'s 食, 今年都唔例外. 我地叫Nicholini\'s fax 個white asparagus set menu 看看, 再跟自己喜好改. 我地食了﹕white asparagus with parma ham and hollandaise sauce (see photo)white asparagus fettuccinibeef tenderloin + white asparagus + risottochocolate fondant好食!!!個人認為Nicholini\'s 個Sunday brunch係金鐘3間酒店中最正的buffet. 除了有多個chef station外, main course係可以order 的(ie.唔係\"筆\"的), 不過通常都食唔落個main course, 因為食buffet都好夠了!

Went there tonight for the first time, made reservation last night, and got a nice table near the VIP room away from the rest of the tables, has a view of the city. Had doubts about this place after reading the previous reviews from this site, although most of my friends highly recommend it.The waiters there was very nice, the food is great. We thought it's the best dinner we had so far, comparing with Amigo's, Cova, Grissini and Toscana. We had the four course meal for $688 per person plus win

The waiters there was very nice, the food is great. We thought it's the best dinner we had so far, comparing with Amigo's, Cova, Grissini and Toscana. We had the four course meal for $688 per person plus wine and water. The set dinner was great, do try the Lamb, one of the best i had!

I personaly prefer this place over Toscana, first because it's on higher floor, and it has windows with views, and nice carpet that absorb sounds from other tables. As for the food, it's always nice to have set menus which i don't have to think too much on what combination is good for what food.

Last but not the least, had VIP card, so 15% off, which is nice when eating this kind quality food.

Nicholini's is actually a favorite of mine in terms of Italian food. Even though I feel that sometimes the service of their junior staff is not up to standards (they sometimes have hotel school trainees), their time and thoughtfulness in preparing for even a simple dish can still be noticed.My favorite is still Lobster Angel-hair. Food is still among the best in hotel Italian food. From what I experienced only Tuscana in Ritz Carlton is on par. The environment is nice and pleasant.Again though t

My favorite is still Lobster Angel-hair. Food is still among the best in hotel Italian food. From what I experienced only Tuscana in Ritz Carlton is on par. The environment is nice and pleasant.

Again though the pricing is high and expected to be. Cova is nice but I just don't think that it is in the same league in every respect with Nicholini's. If you need a quiet place with decent Italian food this would be my recommendation. I just don't think the comments here do any justice.

However, I was thinking myself was in a funeral as all of their staff was showing us sour faces. Food is not that special, not surprised...For thhe same price, I would rather go to COVA...

前兩星期與太太到此食午餐,各點了兩道菜的套餐,即頭盤及主菜。環境不俗,不知是好彩還是不好彩,我們坐進了貴賓房,初時很靜,但就感受不到餐廳的熱鬧氣氛。後來來了一五人的中年人士,很吵!服務很業餘,招呼我們的女侍應根本不懂得餐廰的基本禮儀。食物水準方面,頭盤自助餐只是一般酒店應有的高水準; 主菜很不錯,但當你吃了那麼多後,已沒有多少空間去欣賞,但我仍給它高分。其實我建議大家只需選頭盤已足夠了。這頭盤自助餐也是敗筆,我沒想到去這種級數的餐廰,原來是吃自助餐。結論︰如果你想去一間高級餐廰吃自助午餐,又不介意食物選擇比一般正宗酒店自助餐少,而較注重環境,這是你的選擇。

I went there with my husband last week to have dinner. We ordered 2 set dinner and 2 cocktails. The taste of the food was below average, but the cocktails taste OK. The service of the waiters, especially the captain, I would say that he was absolutely not up to standard. He behaved very rude, cold and indifferent. The environment was good though.

看了幾位食家的評語之後, 本人並不認為Nicholini's係咁差, 相反我本人覺得Nicholini's的食物素質好好.

本人都係Nicholini's食過六,七次lunch, dinner 就未試過,不過我想都可以給小小意見.

Lunch have 3 courses

Appetizer: 有湯, 頭盤buffet, 厨師推介

一定要選頭盤buffet, 因頭盤buffet已經有湯–cold tomato soup or sometimes pumpkin soup, Caesar salad ( u have to order in the buffet table, and chef will prepare it when you order) & several kinds of salad like apple mixed with yogurt salad , 海鮮飯, pasta..etc.
冷盤有- 露筍, 鮮蝦, 帶子, parma ham with melon, 煙三文魚, crab meat salad…etc.

個人推介: cold tomato soup, Caesar salad, 海鮮飯, 鮮蝦, 帶子, parma ham with melon, crab meat salad 係必吃.

嘩!!個crab meat salad真係好食到呀-蟹肉同的芒果肉撈埋在一隻豉油碟size既碟內, 好鮮好清, 好有蟹味..
鮮蝦超新鮮超爽…帶子好大隻好鮮甜
parma ham好正, 咸味剛剛好但唔知係幾多個月既貨式,

食完頭盤都飽啦.

main course: 大概有魚, 牛, 羊, 同埋choose one of the pasta from the pasta menu.

必吃推介: Lobster with tomato sauce angel hair –的龍蝦好多, 好鮮甜, 天使麵煮得剛剛好有趙頭. 平時散叫要HK$280.

羊架同牛扒都好嫩滑, 吃完唔痴牙.證明肉質不錯.

甜品–每次不同, 因食完頭盤同main course都好飽啦, 所以次次都冇叫.

咖啡或茶–仲送朱古力雪糕粒. 好正呀!!好滿足呀!!

價錢有3個choices:

1.appetizer + coffee or tea –HK$ 200 sth
2.appetizer + main course + coffee or tea –HK$340 sth
3.appetizer + main course + dessert + coffee or tea –HK$380sth

價錢不太記得, 請見諒.
總括來說物有所值, 是否物超所值側見人見智.

環境好grand, decoration is very nice even don’t have sea view.

Service is excellent! The waiter and waitress are very nice and professional.

Should go and try!

Business set Lunch only available from Monday to Friday. Saturday only open for dinner, Sunday will join with La Brasserie to have Brunch.

P.S. please present you business card to waiter or waitress in order to apply a V.I.P. card, normally it takes 3 to 4 weeks to process and after you received the card, you can enjoy 20% off discount except on holiday.

I think you are not unlucky, but this place's food is just not as good as any other Hotel class Italian food such as Petrus, Tuscana, Grissini..
