I haven't ate fast food steak for too long that I've already forgotten what it tasted like . On that day, there was a golden opportunity for me to remember it again !I have ordered Steak from New Zealand with black pepper sauce, Pastry Onion Soup ! The steak comes on a sizzling metal plate , along with some onions, half a tomato and a corn on a cob . Of course, the Steak was your usual cha chaan teng/fast food type, which I already expected and don't mind . The meat is generally soft and easy to eat , though I can taste they have put a lot of baking soda to have that effect ... It came on good with the sauce, which was quite spicy . The onions were not fully cooked, as the waiters just put them on raw on the sizzling plate , but as the plate is very hot (hence the name), it does get cooked for a bit , which gave it a good balance between soft and crunchy ! They also were a good match with the pepper sauce !The tomato half was juicy and soft , the tangy flavour matched the grilled taste very well !The Onion Soup wasn't as well as everything else, though . There was barely any onion taste , and for some reason it tasted like medicine ? The only good part was the pastry was crispy enough.In conclusion, this was a good steak meal !
