勇記海南雞團隊從海南雞轉戰雞湯米線，於上環開設勇記養生雞湯米線。店內的靈魂雞湯湯底，以雞殼、雞腳和雞長時間熬煮而成，濃郁呈奶白色，不加味精，真材實料。黃酒藥膳雞米線 藥材下得毫不手軟，湯底入口帶有黃酒香氣與甘甜，養生感十足。雞件保持海南雞店水準，嫩滑且雞味濃郁，唯獨米線幼身口感偏軟，如果偏愛煙韌米線，建議改配白飯，做成湯飯一樣令人滿足。The soul of Yung Kee Chicken Noodles is its rich chicken broth, simmered for hours with whole chicken and chicken feet and no added MSG. 人氣意式手工雪糕店 Ganto Gelato 主打自家製作，且每月推出限定口味。第一次到訪觀塘店，最難忘的反而是「先購買後試味」的特別規矩，似乎有違試味的原意。今次品嚐兩款經典口味 法式焦糖燉蛋 和 豆腐紅糖，法式焦糖燉蛋 香甜軟滑，加入焦糖碎帶來趣味十足的口感。豆腐紅糖雪糕 紅糖香氣突出，豆腐味相對清淡。兩款口味對辦，但個人認為質感及味道較弱，在雪糕店林立的當下，坊間有相似或更好選擇，Ganto Gelato 的固定口味顯得未算吸引，或者直接挑戰每月限定口味，會帶來更多驚喜。Known for its homemade gelato, Ganto Gelato offers both classic flavours and monthly limited flavors in all its 3 branches. 人氣麵店 幕多 的最新太古分店，開店前已經大排長龍，足見其 醬油蝦濃湯麵 的號召力。其湯底以大量鮮蝦熬製，味道醇厚濃郁，配上三隻彈牙鮮甜的剝殼醬油蝦，令人食指大動。拉麵上桌時，店員更會淋上蝦油，進一步增加香氣。另外追加的當日精選小食 醬油蟶子，蟶子肉質爽脆帶微辣，鹹香鮮美。美中不足的是當天湯底溫度未夠熱，稍為影響整碗湯麵的口味，期待未來能有所改善。Camping Kitchen’s latest Tai Koo branch, with queues forming before the store opens, showing the immense draw of their Shrimp Soup Noodles.
