This was the second time we visited; obviously we returned because the food wasn't bad, but if you were expecting great service to match the premium price they charge, better look elsewhere. To be fair, the frontline servers were all attentive and polite, the truly rude one was the manager. There were obvious miscommunication going on amongst the staff throughout our meal (e.g. 3 different people asking the same things within 10 minutes) that we could forgive, but the most infuriating part came at the end when they rudely asked us to leave "because our time is up" and "another important guest is waiting".🙄 First, while they insisted they had told us when we reserved a table that we would need to return the table after 2 hours, that decidedly did NOT happen. They even threatened at one point to "find the phone recordings" to prove their staff had done no wrong; to which we said go ahead, because all it would prove was your staff did not communicate the necessary info.😮💨 Second, if they knew someone "important" was coming and our table needed a quick turnaround, they should not have arranged anyone to use that particular table before in the first place. We didn't ask to be placed at that "prestigeous" table, this was entirely the manager's mishap. And that manager had the gall to blame us for making things difficult for him lol. Maybe he felt embarrassed at being called out in front of other guests and couldn't help lashing out? All of the above could've been avoided if the manager had handled things with a more professional attitude. If we were told when we were seated that the table needed to be returned after 2 hours, we could've asked to be seated at a different one. Since we were almost done anyway, if they politely asked us to settle the bill first and let us finish, we would've left within 20 minutes. We could've had a great experience as the food was delicious. Instead, what we got to remember the meal by was a rude manager who didn't know how to de-escalate, and a female staff who spent 15 minutes arguing whether they had really told us about the time limit, then "apologizing" while still insisting this wasn't her fault. Lady, we didn't care whose fault it was, all we wanted was to finish our meal in peace and to not have someone hounding us every minute, getting more rude every time. What a shame...we will not be returning no matter how exceptional the food is.…查看更多
