Saturday night, my hubby and i had sushi (first time) at Yaki Ana World Trade Center CWB. within 2-hours after dinner he became very unwell, shivering and body aches all over. we thought he had the flu. My principle is not to line up for food...it’s crazy I know.But there’s an exception to Samsen, I lined up once for 45 mins from 7:30pm after work.Surprisingly, this week I went, I was able to go in without a line, of course I took it!As a returned customer, I already decided to have Wagyu Flat Noodles and Thai Milk Tea. Haven’t been to Pici for 3 years because there is always a line!This Wednesday was the opening of The Pizza Project on Star street (another restaurant belong to Pirata Group same as Pici). I was planning to go to Pici or Pizza Project, where ever I can get a table.Luckily and out of my expectation, we can get a table at Pici.We ordered Orecchiette with sausage and Pappardelle with beef ragu. I have walked in to Mr Brown at night but it’s always full. This Thursday I managed to get a booking at 6:30 so I grabbed it.I came here twice for lunch, very good value 3-courses dinner below $200. Was intended to go to Basehall but it was full last night. So hubby went and got us a table at the Morty’s. My husband and I had Bizou’s salad and dessert buffet brunch available on weekends. We also ordered one USDA Sirloin as Main Course.The restaurant looks nice and the waiters and waitresses are attentive, well trained and smiling. Nice service.Unfortunately, that’s where the good experience ended. Although the chef’s made an effort to present the food nicely, the quality of the ingredients used was clearly mass market. We could have spent 20-30% of our Bizou lunch price at Triple O or even Shake Shack and the food would have been far more delicious.
