I’ve passed by this place many times and finally got a chance to try it. The ambience is a bit dim, with neon lights decorating the space, making it a nice spot to drink and chat with friends.I ordered a few items, but the one that really stood out was the kimchi chicken fried rice. The kimchi and cheese were fantastic, and it was such a satisfying guilty pleasure. The seasoning was just right and really hit the spot. Another winner was the boneless tteokbokki sauce chicken. The rice cakes were chewy and soaked up all the flavor from the sauce, while the chicken had a nice balance of spice and sweetness. I highly recommend to get their half half chicken so you can try more flavors! I also tried the galbitang, which was loaded with beef. We had a bit of a challenge finishing it between the two of us because the portion WAS SO GENEROUS. They use pickled radish in the soup instead of fresh ones, which is kinda interesting! The meat is tender and the soup is the perfect medium to wash off all the greasiness after eating the fried chicken. Such a cool little coffee spot in Hong Kong! They’ve got a vintage shop upstairs with some awesome finds, and a few seats where you can chill and watch the tram passes by. It's very spacious yet quiet so you don't feel rushed and too disturbed when you just need some quiet space in the middle of busy Central.The coffee’s smooth and not too sweet, super easy to drink. Personally tried a few of their drinks and i think Nutter Lover is surprisingly my favorite. You can tell the peanut butter is not those generic peanut butter that is loaded with sugar which i really appreciate. The cookies are also just right, not overly sweet and make great little gifts for friends and family. It is at a chewier side rather than the crispy side, in case you have a preference. The owner and staff are super friendly too, which makes the whole vibe even better! Personally, a fan of this place. The place is super clean and the atmosphere is super nice. I came before the lunch hour rush so there was no queue. Ordered 2 items from here, paitan ramen with chicken breast karaage / the grilled chicken and i am surprised at how good the chicken was. They are tender, flavorful and quite juicy. The paitan ramen is very smooth and creamy, not diluted at all and it coats the ramen very nicely. The yuzu paste that was given on the side adds a very nice contrast of flavor, it's pretty strong and i wish they give more of the paste because i would happily douse it in my soup! I have nothing much to complain about the egg, it was cooked perfectly and i think the whole meal is very fairly priced as well given the portion.If you come during lunch, it also comes with complimentary drink which is a very nice touch to the meal. If you come around 12:30 it might be super crowded with office workers / student so try to avoid those hours if you are not really into queuing for your meal.…查看更多

This is my first time trying a shop that specializes in pork ribs, and I can definitely say it met my expectations. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The food portion is HUGE, and you can expect to be stuffed (legit can't walk after my meal because it was that big!). maybe i underestimated the portion, but that’s on me. 1 portion of the pork ribs (the smallest one)  is definitely enough for 3-4 people.I tried their signature pork ribs, and beneath the mountain of ribs, you can find fried rice that complements the sauce really well. The spicy sauce is sweet and spicy, the kind you’d expect from Korean cuisine. The charcoal taste really shines through the dish in a good way.They also kindly gave us some fish cake soup, which I personally really enjoyed (huge fan of fish cake soup btw). My only minor complaint is probably the fact that the cheese on top of the pork ribs is an extra charge (for around 48hkd, which is quite steep) but i really think it is a must have in the dish (kinda a showstopper too). I was really surprised to find a pet-friendly café in Mongkok and I'm so glad I did. The place is spacious and cozy, perfect for hanging out. Just a heads up: you might have to wait a bit if you go during lunch on the weekend, but it is totally worth it.I tried two mains, a dessert, and a drink, and everything was spot on. The prices are a bit on the steep side for the portion sizes and location, but I think it is reasonable for the quality.1. Mentaiko PastaThis was definitely my favorite. The mentaiko flavor was just right, not too fishy and not heavy since it is not cream-based. Do note the pasta is normal boxed pasta!2. All Day BreakfastI loved the jammy eggs, i believe it is soysauce based? It is a fun Japanese twist with onigiri, chicken, and bread. You have to try this when you visit!3. Matcha LatteI am not an expert in matcha, but all i can tell you is it was really nice, smooth, milky, and just the right amount of matcha flavor.4. Cream PuffThey use Hokkaido milk for the filling, and it is amazing. The crust is crispy and the cream filling is fluffy and cold. I have been to a bunch of Korean spots in Hong Kong, and ORM is easily one of the best out there. From the service to the food, everything hit the mark. The staff were super attentive, and you can really see the care they put into each dish, especially if you’re sitting at the bar and watching the chef work up close. It’s impressive.Here’s what I had:1. Yuk HoeThis was the star of the show. The beef was insanely soft, just melted in my mouth, and the crunchy seaweed gave it a great texture. They didn’t hold back on the caviar either, so I’d say the price is totally worth it. Definitely a must-order.2. Mini Crab KimbapNothing wrong with it, just nothing too special for me. The crab was sweet and meaty, but compared to the other dishes, this one felt kinda basic. Still a safe pick if you’re not feeling adventurous.3. Seafood PancakeI usually like my pancakes crispy all the way through, but this one was a bit doughy in the middle. That said, they packed it with fresh, chunky seafood, and the sauce it came with was awesome. Depends on your texture preference.4. Pork BellyI’m not usually into pork belly, but the staff recommended it so I gave it a shot and wow, glad I did. It looked plain and was boiled, but tasted amazing. A friend recommended this place and I’m really glad I checked it out. The meal was enjoyable and everything we ordered came out pretty quickly.Grilled Pork NeckThis was one of my favorites. It was grilled perfectly, flavorful, and didn’t have that gamey taste. The portion was a bit small and the slices were on the thinner side, but overall it was one of the better pork neck dishes I’ve had.Squid and Tiger Prawns with Salted EggThis one surprised me in a good way. The salted egg sauce was more on the salty side, which I prefer over the sweeter versions you usually find in Hong Kong. It had a Southeast Asian flavor and coated the seafood really well. Both the squid and prawns were fresh and nicely cooked, not rubbery at all. The portion felt a little small for the price, but the taste made up for it.Wagyu Beef Boat NoodlesA solid bowl of noodles. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles soaked it up nicely, and the wagyu beef was tender with a generous portion.Just a heads-up, the restaurant only accepts cash. This place actually got me out of bed early on a weekend and I’m so glad it did. I ordered the affogato and the shokupan, and both were genuinely impressive. What blew my mind was finding out afterward that everything is completely vegan. You’d never guess it from the taste or texture.The shokupan especially stood out. It’s unbelievably soft on the inside with a beautifully crisp crust on the outside. The lotus and chocolate topping is perfectly balanced, not too rich, just enough! The coffee itself is smooth and mellow, not bitter or harsh, and the vegan ice cream adds a creamy sweetness that rounds it all out. Finally had the chance to visit this pasta shop! I was initially hesitant because the booking process requires credit card information, which felt like a bit of a hassle. But I decided to drop by for lunch and luckily, there was no queue.The space is small but cozy, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed lunch or catching up with friends. I went for the lunch set, which is very reasonably priced considering it includes homemade pasta and a side (dessert, soup, or drink). I chose the carbonara and cheesecake, while my friend had the Margherita.The pasta was excellent! Noodles were perfectly cooked with a nice QQ bite and well-seasoned. Honestly, it’s one of the better carbonaras I’ve had in Hong Kong. The dessert was a pleasant surprise: the cheesecake had a bold cheese flavor, quite different from the usual ones here, and the vanilla ice cream paired beautifully with it. Visited this spot with a friend, primarily for the Bak Kut Teh, and we ended up trying a handful of other dishes as well. Overall, this is a good place for a quick snack or Bak Kut Teh fix. Nothing felt outright disappointing.1. Bak Kut Teh with Pork RibsThis was the best dish we tried. The portion was generous, the pork ribs were tender and the broth was quite light and nice. If you're a fan of Bak Kut Teh, this is absolutely the one to order. I can't say this is super authentic but it's 2. Bak Kut Teh with Xiao Long Bao DumplingsSame soup base as the pork ribs version, but served with four xiao long baos instead of noodles. The dumplings were flavorful and well made, but the portion felt quite small, especially considering there's no rice or noodles provided. For the price, it felt like something was missing.3. Rice with Lemongrass ChickenThe chicken was nicely marinated, fragrant, and cooked just right. However, the ratio between chicken and rice was a bit off, we were left with a mountain of rice after the chicken was gone. A little more protein would really help this dish feel more balanced.4. Kaya ToastUnfortunately, this didn’t quite live up to expectations. The toast was paper-thin and lacked the usual buttery richness you’d want from a good kaya toast. Would probably skip this one.5. This was my second visit, and I still really enjoy their pad kra pow. If you’re someone who prefers bold flavors and proper spicy food, this place is definitely worth checking out. What sets their pad kra pow apart is the generous use of aromatics and the perfectly cooked sunny-side-up egg with crispy edges and TWO runny yolks. The minced pork is quite salty on its own, but when paired with rice, it balances out beautifully.The noodles are fairly standard, but they’re cooked on the firmer side, which I personally like. If you prefer softer noodles, this might not be your favorite. The pork served with the noodles is excellent, crispy, well-marinated, and full of flavor. The green chili paste is super aromatic and reminds me of Indonesian-style sambal hijau, which I really enjoy. It adds a nice kick and complements the pork perfectly.I also tried the Pandan Coconut drink. It was very refreshing and had a nice balance between the fragrant pandan and the light sweetness of the coconut water. However, it came with a lot of ice and cost around 30++ HKD, which felt slightly pricey for the portion size.The space is a bit tight, and the open kitchen shares ventilation with the dining area, so it can feel a little greasy from the cooking fumes. I’ve been a loyal patron of this place for years (even witnessed two store relocations!) and the taste has remained consistently excellent. The portions are incredibly generous and honestly i am still amazed at the portion each time i go there, especially the beef chunks, which are HUGE and amazingly tender. The broth is rich, well-spiced, and deeply beefy, exactly how comfort food should be.The noodles are cooked to perfection. I’ve tried both the thick and thin options, and I definitely prefer the thick one, even though there’s an extra charge, which is a little disappointing.Another standout is the egg roll with pork floss. It’s so unique and unexpectedly good that I find myself thinking about it long after I’ve left. It’s rare to see a Taiwanese restaurant nail this dish, and they do it brilliantly. Since I'm always around the Yau Ma Tei area, I am well aware that this place usually has a long queue late at night, so I decided to come early every single time,  and yes, there was no queue at all! I love strongly flavored kakigori, so this hits the spot for me. It is not watery, the portion is enough for 2 to 3 people, and they layer the ice with a lot of toppings (like a lot of them). I can tell they put a lot of thought into the dried and fresh ingredients, as well as the texture of the toppings, since most of the items have different combinations. This keeps you from getting sick of the flavor with each bite.I tried many flavors throughout my multiple visits, and some of them are obviously better than others. However, I never tried anything besides their shaved ice.My personal favorites are the Yan Chim Kee and Pistachio Fever. Both are really decadent, and the jam or paste used in the kakigori is very thick, flavoring each bite nicely. The pistachio one has a lot of real pistachio in it, which is a pleasant surprise. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of Mango Fever because it has less going on, and I'm generally not fond of the flavor of mango syrup.The shop itself is not very big, which explains the queue during peak hours. The seating and table placement is quite close to each other, not the most comfortable setting, but it's good enough for a quick dessert break and go.Overall, i really really enjoy their shaved ice and you should give it a try!…查看更多

Came here specifically for their collaboration menu featuring Jellycat-themed items, including an all-day breakfast and other specials. Food-wise, nothing particularly stood out, fairly typical for an all-day breakfast. That said, I especially enjoyed the slow-cooked chicken and the warm, freshly served bread.We ordered one regular all-day breakfast and one themed version. The price difference was quite steep, especially for the drink upgrade, an extra HKD 50 for the pistachio matcha milkshake. The entire glass was covered in matcha powder, which looked nice aesthetically, though felt a bit wasteful.The venue itself is beautiful! well-lit with plenty of sunlight and large windows. I think this is one of the best-value ice creams around the Central area. Unlike many other shops, it doesn't offer options for 1, 2, or 3 scoops, instead, the price is based on how many flavors you choose. The staff are super friendly and even let you taste the ice cream beforehand. I was expecting to get 1 scoop for HKD 58, but I ended up with 2 scoops! A pleasant surprise, at least for me.I got the Hazelnut Crunch, and it was indeed very nutty and smooth. The ice cream was topped with plenty of actual hazelnuts too, so I have no major complaints! If you're a fan of super thick-textured ice cream, this might not be your thing, the texture sits somewhere between traditional ice cream and gelato.
