I work in TST East and yesterday visited this noodle shop nearby my office. Sometimes I will order takeaway but the waiting time (even with prior phone call to place order) is at least 20 minutes. So today I decided to eat-in at the shop but the waiting time, low efficiency, continued wrong orders, further frustrated my experience with them.First, I waited 10 minutes for a 1-person seat (which I think was ok due to lunch hour time). First, I waited 10 minutes for a 1-person seat (which I think was ok due to lunch hour time). After I was seated (in the far end corner), I waited at least 7 minutes and waved like over 6 times in the air before a waitress can over to take my order (before that, another waitress gestured at me that she will come over in a sec but never did).
OK, so after a total of 17 minutes, I placed my order for a noodles and an iced lemon tea (without sugar).
After a further 15 minutes wait, my noodles came. Luckily the order was right.
Another 10 minutes went by and no sign of my lemon tea. I then waved in the air for another 1-2 minutes before a waitress came over. Guess they are just too under-staff.
I told her I'm still awaiting my lemon tea and she checked my bill and said they didn't place the order. I then said, please can you place it now and quickly bring it to me, thanks.
Another 6-8 minutes passed by, the lemon tea came but before the lady placed it down she talked to herself and said 'oh, should be without sugar not without ice' and before I can gesture her and tell her to just place down whatever she has, she fled away.
Another 5 minutes passed by, and my lemon tea (without sugar) finally arrived.
I had to quickly down my lemon tea in less than 2 minutes as I do not want to be late back office. And during those 2 minutes, the most exceptional thing happened. A waitress pushing the trolley with at least 6-8 bowls of hot noodles passed by and she tripped over herself and the whole trolley tilted over. The 7-8 bowls of hot noodles scattered everywhere. Luckily I was not affected but the lady sitting next to me got her shoes covered in soup. Sweat ..........
I have always knew this shop to be understaffed, low efficiency and offered low (if no) services.......but never this bad.
Definitely NO NEXT TIME!
