Took my mum out for a 5-course set dinner ($498 pp) in the bar and restaurant area called “Civic Square” on the rooftop of Elements (which looks a bit like Stanley Plaza to me). Place has really good lighting above every table for photos and an overall dimmed lighting for the rest of the spaces.Crab and Avocado Salad, a mayo loaded salad with a generous amount of crab meat though. Crab and Avocado Salad, a mayo loaded salad with a generous amount of crab meat though. Tastes lemony.
Burrata Cheese with Parma Ham, a whole piece of burrata cheese which you have a cut open to share.
Truffle and Mushroom Cappuccino, comes in a standard coffee cup with a layer of foam on top. Smooth and finely blended.
Spaghetti with Red Prawn and Spicy Cherry Tomato, portion is in a good size which doesn’t fill you up before the mains. The texture of spaghetti is slightly mushy though.
Grilled Beef Tenderloin, comes with a well controlled piece of foie gras. Tenderloin is as tender as expected.
Pan Seared Salmon, one of the major surprises of the night. Super silky with all the moisture kept and does not taste raw at all.
Daily Dessert, milk pudding topped with strawberry and blueberry. In a bite size, and gives a light sweet finish to the meal.
