Weekend in Tseung Kwan O area and I wanted to eat something! We found this place called An Nam Pho. There wasn't a line so we went in!The restaurant was not too big but seating was spacious enough. They even had a take out counter for drinks. Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge. When we were there, they had only the afternoon tea set available. Boyfriend had the Sliced Interim Brisket Noodle With Soup ($47). This was ok. The soup had a light beef taste. The brisket itself was tender and soft. The noodles were chewy and smooth.
I had the Chicken Wing with Lemongrass Noodle With Soup ($47). The soup here had a slight chicken taste but it was mostly MSG.
The chicken wings were quite good though cold. I guess everything was prepared ahead of time because this came out very fast after I ordered. But these were good and I do love cold chicken.
Portion size was quite good. Not too small but able to finish. The food tasted fine though the soup base had a good amount of MSG. The drinks were quite good as well. Prices not expensive.
