What an incredible meal I had last night at Paper Moon. As the name suggests, the cozy, eclectic atmosphere provides a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle outside. Our server had top-notch skills - navigating the tight spacing as the restaurant was fully booked, while still providing seamless plate changes. Dishes arrived one at a time to save table real estate, yet we never felt rushed.
The food itself was magnificent. The truffled pizza jumped with fragrant flavor from real shaved chips. My tenderloin could not have been more perfectly cooked - melt in your mouth tender. But the highlight was the clam pasta dish. Buoyant shells cradled plump, sweet clams in a light yet intensely flavored broth infused with garlic and parsley. The clams were so tender and sweet, it was truly divine.
At nearly $1500 including wine for our party of 2, it was definitely not a cheap night out. However, I'd happily pay double just for the incredible ocean vistas alone. When you factor in the impeccable service and creative, expertly prepared cuisine, it was an absolute bargain. I'll most certainly be returning to experience more menu gems - this hidden gem is definitely worth splurging on. Don't miss it!
