Lunch break at this relaxing stylish bistro, and we tried the new autumn menus. Starter, main and a drink to fuel our post-holiday souls. You can choose salmon salad or lobster bisque, I loved the latter cos it’s rich, savoury and full of lobster meats. Wagyu cheese burger was huge, beef patty was good and the burger buns were extremely crispy. (I wish they grill the purple onion too but they served it raw) Ketchup & crunchy fries were satisfying. Linguine chicken Alfredo was beautiful and appetising. The creamy mushroom sauce was just right, not too thick, just the way I liked it.
Half price for special drinks: Chocolate banana smoothie with whipped cream and chocolate sauce; pink grapefruit and lemon soda. Both were good, not overly sweet and kept us happy for the rest of the afternoon.
