Lunch with the spicy lovers. They love coming here since apparently the owner is from 四川and the dishes are authentic. Since I couldn’t take spicy, I had my own pot. The choices for non spicy soup base was not interesting at all. I ordered the plain pork soup. The others had a really good time tho. They ordered this bottle of alcohol to go with the food. They said it’s a value-for-money version of 五糧液 and I thought the bottle was cool. They loved the 水煮魚 and 宮保雞丁and I couldn’t stop sneezing from

The choices for non spicy soup base was not interesting at all. I ordered the plain pork soup. The others had a really good time tho. They ordered this bottle of alcohol to go with the food. They said it’s a value-for-money version of 五糧液 and I thought the bottle was cool. They loved the 水煮魚 and 宮保雞丁and I couldn’t stop sneezing from the spicy fumes that their pot was giving out. It was all worth it, cos the dessert was really yummy. We ordered the 冰粉，紅糖糍粑，桂花糕，紅棗糕。the 冰粉 came with very wholesome ingredients like 杞子; the 紅糖糍粑 was thin slices of deep fried dough, crispy on the outside and doughy on the inside. It came with syrup on the side- SO SO yummy. 紅棗糕was so delish that I bought several Takeaway slabs in New Year packaging for 拜年. In summary: must try for spicy lovers. I will definitely return for a dessert bonanza.
