Feeling cold after staying in the cool theatre, I wanted a bowl of noodles. Xia Mian Guan is definitely a place for mian. I had the dan dan noodles with stewed pork ball (砂鍋獅子頭擔擔麵 $78). A piece of big ‘lion head’ on top of chewy noodles in the savory and spicy broth, topped with peanut flakes, tiny pork pieces and spring onion. Delicious but relatively pricy.
