I've been wanting to try this restaurant for some time since it is a brand from Korea. From the storefront, you can tell this restaurant is simple yet cute. The servers' orange berets are really eye-catching. Once seated, you can see the attractive orange menus. I must say that menu was designed really well with attractive photos of the food and drinks.I came here with a purpose. I was attracted by their beef cheek omurice, so it's a must. I came here with a purpose. I was attracted by their beef cheek omurice, so it's a must. My friend ordered the spicy cheesy stir-fried chicken.
Both dishes were made and presented like the ones in the photos. The beef cheek was cooked to tender. The egg omelette was smooth and done just right! The rice was cooked perfectly with some broth and veggies. My friend and I was a bit disappointed with the chicken dish. We thought that white saucy topping was melted cheese but it wasn't. In fact, there was no cheese in it at all! It was more of a sauce made of cream. Other than that, the chicken was really moist and tender with chewy tteokbokki.
Here comes the part which the restaurant can improve on - SERVICE.
For example, we wanted a spoon for the stir-fried chicken. We asked one server for a spoon. After ten minutes, still no spoon. Thus, we had to ask again. As for water, you need to ask at least three times to fill the empty glasses with water. And it's not that they are short on staff. There are many servers.
Hopefully, they can train up the servers better.
