My daughter treated my wife and me to a fathers-day dinner in a newly-opened café, Café Pawsitive, at Sai Kung. She ordered 3 dishes along with soups. The Pan-fried Angues naked eye steak wasdelicate and flavorful, which was served with a generous portion of seared duck liver. The roasted spring chicken, seasoned with spices and garlic, was juicy and tender with crispy skin. The slowly-cooked pork rib was fall-off-the-bone-tender and delicious, finished with a sweet and tangy barbecue sauce. All the dishes were served with a side of mixed vegetables and roasted potatoes. The dinner was rounded up with a creamy and melt-in-the-mouth cheese cake!
The café exterior is decorated with an elegant Mediterranean finishing, which creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, while the layout inside is neat and tidy. The staff are so friendly and attentive!
I was told the daily food the Cafe provides are mainly cafe, pasta, deserts, etc, while other main-course dishes may need to be ordered 1 or 2 days in advance.
Thanks to my daughter for the memorable dining experience on the special day in that unusual Café, which we will definitely patronize again.
