We have been to Café Marco several times but this is the best yet celebrating a friend’s birthday with good food and balloons!For many, having oysters for buffets is important so here you will find them in abundance and very fresh too even though they are a wee small. Personally though I was more impressed with the much improved dessert selections and 11 flavors of Mövenpick ice-cream!Their food selection was wide. On the seafood side, they had the usual Frozen Seafood items like Crabs, Lobsters

Their food selection was wide. On the seafood side, they had the usual Frozen Seafood items like Crabs, Lobsters, Mussels and Sashimi. As to salad, they had a bit of everything, cold cuts, smoked salmon, and four types of cheeses with brie being the best.As to Western food, there’s the Lobster Pasta, Wagyu Beef, Ham, Bread Rolls and Pea Soup at one corner and some hot seafood like Stuffed crab meat & mashed potato on crab shell and Lasagna in the general hot food section.
There is also a Curry Corner and a bigger proportion of Chinese food: Chiu Chow braised food items like goose wings, orangey cuttlefish, beef brisket broth soup; Congee, Noodles, BBQ item, Steamed Fish and Steamed Scallop with vermicelli and garlics, Fried Rice, and even Ginger-Vinegar Stew.
For families with kids, having a kiddie buffet table with all-kids favorites like spaghetti meatballs, French fries, candies, cookies, and tiny cupcakes with some toy decorations, and a Balloon Artist engaging the kid on summer weekends is very thoughtful. We are equally impressed and entertained when he made a balloon crown for our birthday girl upon request.
For standard set drinks, we can get them at the bar table instead of being served.We had a fantastic time here. The service was impeccable and the servers were all very pleasant and helpful. We could also see how readily the food was replenished and kept tidy as the buffet table was right in front of us.
