It was mid-week and we teleported ourselves to this elegant French bistro for a relaxing evening. A basket of soft sourdough with escargot-style garlic & parsley butter to start, then there was a artistic plate of smoked sardines and muscat grapes served on spoonfuls of white gazpacho made with bread and almond, topped with balsamic vinegar- this is absolutely fancy, beautiful, and appetising! Ought to get out fingers dirty in order to squeeze all the juice outta our carabineros- the rigatoni was cooked with roma tomatoes and spinach in an intense lobster bisque. Added the red prawn juice to make it finger lickingly good. On the side, a crazily delicious ramekin of very crunchy green beans sautéed with balsamic reduction, finished with sea salt and chopped chives on top. Simple but genius recipe: extremely tasty and flavours popped right on your tongue. Profiteroles was our dessert: hot velvety hot chocolate sauce poured over choux puffs sandwiched with vanilla icecream, and garnished with whipped cream. The chocolate sauce was very rich and we ended up finishing the whole jar just like Pooh emptying his hunny pot.

今日同男朋友黎食法国餐,听讲呢间都几正宗,价钱唔太贵,$358pp brunch set~几钟意呢间餐厅嘅装修,俾人好优雅嘅感觉,可以慢慢享受返餐😚先食个新鲜法国生蚝🦪 生蚝好鲜甜,一定要配合旁边酸酸甜甜嘅红酒醋加洋葱汁,唔单止可以去除生蚝嘅腥味,仲提升咗生蚝嘅鲜甜味,餐厅仲贴心咁预备咗一杯苹果柚子汁,可以清一清味蕾~ 法国鸡肝酱配脆面包 我哋都好钟意个鸡肝酱,又冇腥味,口感顺滑,味道略为咸,所以一定要配合旁边嘅脆面包食,鸡肝酱份量都几多,我哋仲捞埋旁边嘅法式面包一齐食🤭 法式蒜蓉牛油焗蜗牛系经典嘅法国菜,一上枱热辣辣整起,仲见到面上嘅蒜蓉牛油酱弹起,每一粒蜗牛都充满着蒜蓉牛油味🥰法式柠檬汁渍鱼生 好钟意佢个酱汁酸酸甜甜嘅柠檬汁,令人好开胃😚 Grilled fish of the day 系三文鱼 好钟意佢嘅酱汁,仲有三文鱼子同埋菠菜都煮得好好食,块三文鱼皮煎得薄薄一层,食嘅时候唔会成块起晒,可以同埋中间滑溜嘅三文鱼肉一齐食,整得好👍 香煎牛腹肉配薯条 Flap Steak with fries 叫咗medium,煎到外脆内软,牛肉味浓,唔洗点旁边嘅酱汁,入边好juicy😋 最后系Coffee tea & dessert time 🥰 有三款甜品可以食,先食咗柠檬味雪葩,佢个底仲有红莓汁嘅酱,捞埋一齐味道好夹!中间系朱古力慕丝,好滑溜,朱古力味浓,唔系死甜嘅朱古力😚 最后系杏仁蛋糕,热热地,食落有啖啖嘅杏仁香味,口感几似豆蓉😋食完我地都好满足,呢间法国小馆真系唔错🥰

今天走到上环,经过这间餐厅,餐厅设计很法式,今天是下雨天,他们有位置可以望出街上,因为很喜欢望著下著雨的街,所以就进去吃晚餐。我们今天不是太饿,就点了两个前菜,一个主菜,一个甜品。Chicken Liver Parfait (法式鸡肝酱)这道法式鸡肝酱搭配脆面包及培根酱,味道丰富且层次感十足。鸡肝酱的滑顺与培根的咸香相得益彰,脆面包的口感则为整道菜增添了脆度,让人一口接一口,无法自拔。Smoked Sardines (烟熏沙甸鱼)烟熏沙甸鱼的呈现令人惊艳,搭配的葡萄和大蒜白酱增添了清新的口感。鱼肉的烟熏香气在口中四溢,与酱汁的细腻平衡,让人感受到海洋的味道,十分诱人。Rigatoni Carabineros (红虾龙虾汁扁面意粉)这道扁面意粉以红虾与龙虾汁为主角,配上新鲜的罗马番茄与菠菜,色香味俱全。意粉煮得恰到好处,吸收了浓郁的龙虾汁,红虾的鲜味更是让整道菜升华,令人印象深刻。Creme Brulee (法式焦糖布丁)作为完美的结尾,法式焦糖布丁的外层焦糖香脆,内里则是滑顺的布丁,甜而不腻。每一口都带著香草的芬芳,令人心满意足,完美地收尾整顿大餐。这一餐的每一道菜都展现了厨师的用心与技巧,无论是前菜、主菜还是甜点,都能让人感受到精致与美味。若有机会,绝对值得再次品尝!
