因为老虎覆诊的关系,间中便要来荃湾一趟。诊所附近有一间叫金泰城的泰国餐馆,海南鸡饭挺美味。今次同样为来海南鸡而来,但店员端来的海南鸡饭太湿润,口感不太好。米饭以黄姜粉来煮,但已没有以往那股椰香。以前奉送的清鸡汤,现在亦已经没有影踪。就算去骨鸡肉尚算嫩滑有鸡味,也无法否认时间已经彻底改变了记忆中的味道,只有那个甜酸辣汁还可以。另一个下午茶餐点了自选鲜鸡汤底粉面餐,配料选了海南鸡丝。首先,汤底清澈透明亦无鸡味,应该是清汤底而非鸡汤底。河粉碎碎的断开,有部份更一团一团的黏起来,吃的时候不太方便。另外,这个明明是泰式粉面,不太明白为何店方弃用香茅、九层塔之类的泰式香草,反而放满了萝卜生菜。这个汤河的海南鸡丝份量很多,鸡丝堆叠起来绝对比一客海南鸡饭还要厉害,可惜吃时不难发现雪藏味。以前同样时段来光顾,基本上都爆场,如今只坐了三台客人。不知道今次店方是偶有失准,还是真的退步了。但无论如何,人流对店子和客人双方都是一种重要指标,客人比以往少了一大截,店方应该正视。查看更多

其实,这餐厅,我已是第二次来光顾。生菜包, 今次明显失准,肉粒欠调味, 吃了几口已忍不住要求更换此菜。幸好,店员也很合作, 更换过后也可接受。炸虾饼, 不会炸到干争争令人难以入口, 恰到好处。但,虾饼份量再多点会较好,因伴菜份量过多,我们要加在生菜包一起吃。如果, 此店能做加钱配特饮的优惠,会容易吸引多些食客,愿意再来光顾。查看更多

I am living in Tsuen Wan. This is not the first time of my visit. Usually for the sake of convenient I will go this restaurant for a set lunch in weekend. Last Saturday I was thinking to have something more decent with my wife and son for dinner but we don't want to go far so we decided to try here. Ordered satay (6 pcs Pork), grilled fish, fried rice noodle, pan fried oyster and sashimi shrimp. All of them are completely dissapointed. Satay - the pork is so dry. It was a re-cook of the leftover (see photo). There is no way it looks like this!. The meat was so rough and hard to chew! I told the staff and rejected, finally this is cancelled and they took back. The reply is "our satay are like these. Even you change to chicken meat it will be the same!" What a poor reply. Grilled fish - after waiting 25 mins we are expecting something good, at least to look similiar to the menu. My god! Not fresh, dry meat without good taste. Fish skin is not thoroughly cleaned. Only taste salty at one side. $98! I won't pay this for even $30!. We just eat few small bites and leave it!Friend rice noodle...pork meat was fat and not cooked thoroughly. There wasn't a lot of customer so why they use their time to cook better? Portion is very small, worse than set lunch. But it cost $58!. Pan fried oyster. Looks to far from the photo in menu! Watery without the taste of "fried". Only a few small size oyster mixed with fried egg and onion. Sashimi shrimp. Even much worse compared to those restaurant in Kowloon City, but this is the only dish we finished!. Overall we think this is only a place for quick set lunch. Don't be confused with the photos posted on the wall, in the menu, or outside the window!. Go and try yourself, if by chance, compare to those at somewhere else in similiar price range, then you will see the big difference!. 查看更多

星期日,去边到食饭都好多人。行下行下去到金泰城,门口都有约10人等候。餐厅门口有好多食物既相及杂志报导,感觉吸引。不过餐厅地方唔大,而安排轮侯的方法未见成熟。因为见到有客人拿著已过的号码回来,餐厅员工仍然为他先安排入坐,感觉有点不公平。建意餐厅参考其他餐厅的做法,例如: 已过的号码若超出3个轮侯号码,必须重新轮侯。言而,服务生做事都很勤快,要求加水等工作,都一叫即做。轮侯期间,同餐厅员工吹水得知若在星期一至四到这间餐厅用多款信用咭签帐都会有折扣优惠,但今天是星期天。等了半小时多,终于有位啦!餐厅布置都唔错,有些泰国装饰物及食物相片,色彩鲜艳感觉好开心似的。今晚我们叫左4个𩠌,包括泰式生菜包、椰子海鲜炒饭、芒果丝软壳蟹及泰式咖哩羊架。芒果丝软壳蟹: 个名好吸引,因为有芒果和软壳蟹,但出来的结果有点失望。因为软壳蟹炸得比较耐左,而且酱汁加上芒果丝青瓜丝等材料后口感太酸。泰式生菜包: 肉方面一般,有可能是因为炒的㶽气不足,但我欣赏它的生菜新鲜。泰式咖哩羊架: 卖相有点失望,而且咖哩汁唔太浓,羊架有点难咬,羊架so味很浓,咖哩味完成被盖住。而且食佢,我饮左好多水。椰子海鲜炒饭: 最like都是佢其实呢个𩠌好多泰式餐厅都有,但我欣赏它的椰子粒粒有咬感,而且海鲜炒饭味香,完全食到椰子、海鲜和炒饭一起既味道。查看更多

又是春雨连绵的大雨天,雨天的大坝街定比平日少人很多,一列多间食肆除普洱门外仍有人龙外,每家也仍有座位,连平日多次想试但每次也望而却步的金泰城也不例外,一于在收到泰国手信的一天再吃个泰国午饭吧。泰式午餐$33有几款炒粉面饭还包饮品,比著名金坊的价钱便宜一点也没那么远,难怪平日也座无虚设了。虾酱炒饭一放在桌上,虾酱香已即时满足了我们的嗅觉,急不及待的趁热尝试一口,炒得有虾酱香及干身,油份不多的饭粒分明干爽,每粒饭也有均匀地有著颜色,虾酱微咸又香的炒得很好吃;配料简单的只有一点猪肉碎及一只炒蛋,最惹味是两片泰国腊肠,跟中式腊肠甜一些的很好伴饭,看似辣椒丝的小红虾和爽脆豆角碎令炒饭更多点爽口,好吃的虾酱炒饭。泰式炒金边粉红红的看似很像样,金边粉有韧性,没有加青柠汁的炒金边粉其实不酸不甜,味道其实不太特别,当伴匀那花生碎后情况较香口,加上淡而无味的冷冻玻璃虾仁令食味更没变化,两款来选还是喜欢较浓香的虾酱炒饭多一点。在泰国菜馆饮的热奶茶意外地有劲道,比坊间很茶记更有茶味口感更丰厚,奶及茶比例不错,就算不加糖也很好饮,我也不拘泥这杯究竟是泰式奶茶还是港式了,总之够劲道对胃口就成了。一小时的午饭时间分享了欢笑和感动眼泪,一向也明白凡事皆有得失,很高兴在工作上找到两位可信任的同事,亦很荣幸地得到他们的信任,这种互信的感受的确难得,谢谢他和她。查看更多
