每一次回到美孚飲食,都會是家庭式的。人多時,就上茶樓一聚。人少的一天,就會去區內的茶餐廳/快餐店,簡單幾味家庭外膳。這一個晚上,我們就選擇了《翠河》來一個簡單的家常便飯。我們是客家人家庭,當看見 menu 上有扣肉時,總會覺得份外的開心。一份扣肉的小菜套餐,份量不大,剛剛好夠我們4人享用。其扣肉入味,夠腍夠肥美,是不錯的。氹小朋友食飯,我們也點了一份生炒骨。生炒骨用的是肉排,肉既比例勝過骨。酸味重一點,甜味剛剛好亦是生炒骨同咕嚕肉的明顯分別。西檸雞,香脆的炸雞配上檸檬汁,味道酸酸甜甜,小朋友喜歡,大人也喜歡。最重要就是雞件夠脆,伴飯吃更可口。最後就是跟餐送的油菜。生菜,是百搭的,爽口甜美,就是好味道。可以是因為有裝修工程,所以環境上不太好。但食物不錯,已令人叫開心。…查看更多
Menu is filled with Hong Kong local eats, a cha chaan teng (茶餐廳) chain store I would happily recommend to tourist as well as locals because it offers all kind of Hong Kong local eats at a comfortable environment. Many of you are familiar with this restaurant, as it is a common local eatery All Day Set A(常餐A) : Black truffle scrambled eggs on toast (with a choice of our own Hong Kong style soup noodle, see below). I loved this so much, as eggs were still soft and slightly raw, I can have it almost any day!Luncheon meat (午餐肉), sunny side eggs (煎雙蛋), ham (火腿), satay beef (沙嗲牛肉), pickled vegetable with meat (雪菜肉絲), all as a choice of topping. On the other hand, macaroni (通粉), instant noodles (公仔麵), rice vermicelli (米粉). For a healthier option, we didn’t have instant noodles but rice vermicelli to go with the satay beef!As a balanced and nourishing dish, I always go for something like a rice in soup (湯泡飯). I like this salted egg, vege and sliced pork combination very much! Beware though, setting is usually quick paced. They have many branches in Hong Kong, with this branch in Mei Foo, before you can finish your last word for the order the waitress is gone with the wind.
