Chiu Chow cuisine rarely catches my eye, but this visit opened my heart to its soulful, crowd-pleasing flavours. The humble menu skipped luxury ingredients, focusing instead on hearty, traditional dishes rarely found elsewhere, delivering an authentic experience 😋To start, the 冰鎮鮑魚 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗰 was delightfully chewy, kissed with a garlicky marinade while the 錦繡四拼盤 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝘂𝘅𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿-𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 was a treasure trove: 鵝片 𝗟𝗼𝘂 𝗦𝘂𝗶 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲, 鵝肝 𝗟𝗼𝘂 𝗦𝘂𝗶 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿, 蝦棗 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗽 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀 and 蘿蔔灌漿 𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗱 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹. The goose liver was pure heaven, stealing the show😎杏汁荷包雞湯 𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗹𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗪𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗩𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀 was a revelation🌟 It’s my first time trying almond soup with chicken and the chicken oil enriched the almond soup perfectly - a perfect marriage of nutty and savoury notes. White fungus, lotus seeds, and other fillings burst with flavour. Even I am not a fan of leftover ingredients in soup, I ate a whole bowl of it😆Also, tried some classics here: 骨香鯧魚片 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗦𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, 四寶片皮雞 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗽𝘆 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻, 火方冬瓜夾 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗮𝗺 and 糖醋伊麵 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗽𝘆 𝗘-𝗙𝘂 𝗡𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗿. Love the latter two a lot👍🏼To end, it’s obligated to have 反沙芋件 𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿 and again, I loved something that I don’t usually like here: 湯丸馬蹄片豆爽 𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗻𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴!
