My Japanese colleague bought this box of cookies from the renowned Jenny Bakery, a popular cookie shop among tourists..She bought the Small 4 Mix Butter Cookies, which included Butter Flower, Shortbread, Raisin Oat and Coffee Flower. The Butter Flower, crafted in the shape of a delicate flower, had an airy texture which melted in my mouth. It was delightfully buttery yet not overly sweet. The Shortbread was more buttery and had a firmer texture compared to the other cookies. It tasted pretty standard though. In the Raisin Oat cookie, the toasted and finely chopped raisins were evenly dispered throughout the crispy cookie. I am not that fond of raisin, so it was so-so to me. The Coffee Flower exuded a robust coffee aroma. Upon tasting it, the coffee flavour was rather mild, and it was still extremely buttery. It melted in my mouth as soon as I took a bite. .Although the cookie shop is often criticized as a tourist trap, I genuinely think their cookies are quite outstanding, being really armoatic, buttery, tasty and airy.
