Ingredient and Portion
Beef Brisket(chunks) 1ib
beancurd sticks(FOO-chuk) 1stick
ginger slices
Seasoning
oyster sauce 2tbsp
dark soya sauce 1tbsp
sugar 1tsp
water
Method
Soak beancurd stick in water until soft and cut into shorter pieces.
Cook beef brisket in water slightly and drain well.
Heat oil in wok,fry ginger and add in beef brisket and seasonings. Transfer to clay pot(if preferred) and cook over low heat until beef brisket is tender. Add in beancurd sticks and cook for another 15 minutes.
