Been a while since I've been to @honjohk again even though it's so close to my new place! We went on a Monday evening and there were quite a lot of table reservations.We had a mixture of their new dishes and the tasting menu. Started with a beef tataki with sprinkles of toasted rice, a tofu salad, some sushi, a very ncie and crunchy corn tempura that came with 4 different kinds of salt and a soft shell crab with green tabasco mayo. We had a mixture of their new dishes and the tasting menu. Started with a beef tataki with sprinkles of toasted rice, a tofu salad, some sushi, a very ncie and crunchy corn tempura that came with 4 different kinds of salt and a soft shell crab with green tabasco mayo. For meats we had grilled pork belly skewers and a biggggggg ass stone pot with beef rice inside. We mixed up the soft boil egg with bits of the crunchy rice on the bottom and it was a smooth finish to the savoury dishes. We had 2 desserts to finish, including ice cream with all kinds of fruits, including the deadly PINEAPPLE. Last but not least was the matcha lava with roasted white chocolate and even more ice cream hehehehhehe love me a good lava.
