I've been wanting to try this place for a while but avoided coming because they don’t take reservations and there's always a queue. But then my friend and I had a weekday off so we finally decided to check this place out, hoping that there would be less people on a weekday.

Arrived a few minutes before 12:00 (when they open) and there were already people lining up! We managed to get a seat but the restaurant was filled in no time. Crazy!

We ordered two lunch sets - hummus and avocado for appetizers, sea bass and eggplant for mains, and the chef's dessert was a honey and fig panna cotta.

Overall the food was decent, but we found the appetizers to be more outstanding than the mains, and I don't know what to think of that. Apart from the hummus, everything else was served in rather small portions. It was a very hot day when we visited, so the heat kind of ruined my appetite. However, I can imagine that the lunch set may not be enough food for some people.

In summary, I would say the food here is good (but not superb), and I don’t think it’s worth queuing for. Having said that, Francis is still worth a try! Perhaps you'll think they're worth the hype - to each their own
