It's for a birthday dinner with my good friend that I visited this famous steakhouse from Chicago the first time. It's for a birthday dinner with my good friend that I visited this famous steakhouse from Chicago the first time.
Surprisingly, on this Monday evening, it's so packed and I didn't see any empty tables around. Space between tables was not generous indeed, as this is HKG...
Waitress was good and pleasant, and guided us through their menu, which wasn't too complicated.
It started with a big piece of bread, which was nice, but we couldn't finish even half of it.
We shared the crabcake then, being recommended as their signature appetizer. No disappointment, and it's baked with fresh and tasty crab meat.
Then, I tried the lobster bisque, and my friend took an onion soup. The bisque was well presented, in a big plate. Good taste, a bit spicy, with quite a big piece of lobster meat inside. My friend said his onion soup was good too, and it's classic.
For the main course, we ordered a centre-cut prime rib eye to share, and asked for medium rare. It's nicely grilled, and came precisely as we ordered: slightly juicy, and dark pink inside. It's a great piece of steak that should satisfy most beef lovers. The only minor complaint is that the portion of fat inside was a bit BIG...
We took a look of the dessert menu after the main, but decided to skip as we're really full.
With glass of Cabernet Sauvignon, it costs around $1000 per person. Quite a reasonable price, and it's an enjoyable dinner after all.
