To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 早幾日去左北京樓食生日飯全部都睇落好正!!我地人多所以都叫左好多野全家福 ($798)有十碟前菜咩都有d 全部都好食不過最鍾意係個魚宮爆蝦球 ($338)D蝦好大隻 不過可能因為我食得辣所以我覺得如果再辣d就仲好原來當你食到D碗碟好污糟既時候d staff會過黎換新既比我地北京填鴨 ($598)我地叫左一隻鴨 佢地片之前會拎黎比我地睇下隻鴨先皮又脆肉又好食 雖然睇落好多油但其實我就覺得岩岩好花膠雲吞雞 ($418)飲完D花膠仲會'張'住個口咁 一定係好足料佢地會由前菜開始跟次序咁出菜 由小食到main同湯都係一樣一樣咁上菜唔會好似其他中餐食飯d staff會一次過推晒d野食出黎成枱都係野又或者亂咁上菜 又熱又冷盤咁蔥燒海蔘 ($408位)D staff幫我地分左每人一碟 睇落就好靚不過我就唔鍾意海蔘就冇食 冇意見 ~小籠包 ($198)d蟹粉爆晒出黎好正 咬開都唔會太熱好食焗布甸唔記得左幾錢佢仲有個蘿蔔絲酥餅配黎一齊食 個酥餅好鬆化同埋d餡都好好味個布甸唔算太甜 成碟野都好靚雖然已經好飽 但最後都清晒所有野食 連我地帶黎個蛋糕都食唔晒不過原來因為我地帶左蛋糕黎 佢地同我地影左張相 仲送
