Another hidden gem in the not so touristy part of Macau. Signature shrimp roe noodles was yum. Thin crunchy noodles saturated with shrimp roe. Wanton skin was paper thin and filling was fresh. Fried noodles was sooo crispy, sauce has a strong black pepper taste but not overwhelmingly so. Beef was soft and juicy. Fried wanton was good if not a tad oily (it WAS deep fried...so I guess it's expected), fillings were generous and tasty. Skin was fried to perfection. It was short and crisp. Fried fishballs were the highlight of the night for me. The outside was crispy without a hint of oil and the meat was smooth, juicy with a nice chew.
Service wasn't the best. They didn't give us the famous broth for the dried noodles until we asked and we had quite a long wait for the combination fried wanton and fishballs (don't really mind the wait but a few patrons got theirs before us even though we ordered way earlier) BUT the food more than made up for it.
Will definitely come back again
