We came here for lunch on a Saturday, and it was pretty busy, luckily there wasn’t a que and we got a table in the corner quite quickly 😃We ordered 3 lunch sets, a Bolognese Penne, Linguine with Onsen Tamago & Crabmeat in Cream Sauce and Spaghetti with Chicken in Pesto Cream Sauce. Bread rolls come with the Creamy Mushroom Soup, but oddly we had to ask for butter 🧈 for the bread rolls, they don’t automatically come with the bread anymore? Bread rolls come with the Creamy Mushroom Soup, but oddly we had to ask for butter 🧈 for the bread rolls, they don’t automatically come with the bread anymore? The soup is piping hot and has a creamy taste with lots of mushroom bits inside. I upgraded my soup with puff pastry adding on $18, it is well worth it as the puff pastry soaks up the soup when broken into the soup, it is a great comfort dish!
The Bolognese Penne is a consistent favorite and very dependable, you know what your going to get. The Linguine with Onsen Tamago & Crabmeat in Cream Sauce we tried for the first time, it was bland and had crab shells in the dish, this is a big no no. We won’t order this dish again! The Spaghetti with Chicken in Pesto Cream Sauce had generous chunks of chicken and the Pesto Sauce was strong and creamy.
To be honest the best dish wasn’t the pasta’s, it’s the puff pastry creamy mushroom soup!
The service is so so, the service is quick and efficient. The seating is spacious and the restaurant is hygienic.
