I made my reservation almost one month in advance, but then got a call from the restaurant just 24 hours before the day telling me that they will have a full house and so need to cancel my booking!? And not even try to pacify or seek remedial action and only offer to move my booking to the next day? Well, thank you very much. I know we are not valued as your customer, so we won't be.
