This is no way I will ever return to this place!Booked a table for 3 for 7pm.Arrived at 7:05pm.They told us to sit and wait.7:15pm one guy said I could have a table IF I return it by 8:30. I said 75 minutes seemed a bit tight as Tung Po is known for the atmosphere and not a quick and and go place.He was annoyed and said ‘then you sit and wait. Might wait a very long time’ and walked off7:25pm a female waitress told me to follow her.On the way to our table she said I must return the table by 8:30

Arrived at 7:05pm.
They told us to sit and wait.

7:25pm a female waitress told me to follow her.
On the way to our table she said I must return the table by 8:30.
I said too tight.
She said ‘You have no booking I give you a table and you are still not satisfied?’
I said that I booked.
She saw that i did. She swore in Cantonese to me - ‘then you ho L late. It is 7:30pm. Count yourself lucky i am giving you a table.’
I said to her she saw us sit there for 15 mins.
She said ‘dont tell me you cannot finish a meal in 55 mins. What you mean not enough.’ Then walked off.
We ordered as quickly as we could
From 8:10 they kept coning back to tell us the table was needed soon.
We had absolutely no peace during this meal
Eventually, they said we could stay if we moved to a different table.
But we were eating crab and it was messy and i said ‘it is only 8:10. You will get your table at 8:30 ok? You said 8:30, thats fine’.
Then 8:20 they came back and said ‘the 8:30 people are here, you need to leave.’
I said ‘how come the table next to us who came before we came are still here?’
‘We open at 5:30 so the first batch had to leave at 7 but some did not so we are now behind’
So i asked why we are the only people being asked to leave.
They had no answer snd walked off.
At 8:25 we asked for the bill and a waitress who we had not interact with during the meal came with it.
I got out my credit card and she said ‘no no, over $2000 only’.
I asked where it said that. Menu? Website? On the wall?
She whispered in my ear and said ‘this place always like this, our bosses always make us do stuff like this and make us be the bad guys, I am so sorry.’
She took my credit card and eventually let us pay with the card.
I have never done a review here before. But I really have to share my experience.
I will never ever step foot in this awful place again.
