📍SOMM If you haven’t tried Chef @terryhkt’s menu at SOMM, then you have got to give it a try. There are a number of new items on the menu. The black truffles & salers cheese toasted sourdough sandwich is a classic. Look at that cheese pull! The Beef Short Rib ‘Charsiu’ is actually quite tender and is not dry at all despite the photo. There are a number of new items on the menu. The black truffles & salers cheese toasted sourdough sandwich is a classic. Look at that cheese pull! The Beef Short Rib ‘Charsiu’ is actually quite tender and is not dry at all despite the photo. The beetroot tart and the raw Shima Aji “Kombujime” were a bit too earthy for me 😂

For mains, the cover photo doesn’t do the pigeon & foie gras pithivier justice as it’s like a piece of art when you see it in person. I can imagine the amount of work put in in preparing for it. For me personally, I am not a pigeon pie person as it’s a bit too rich for me. But all my British bosses love it so much!

Me on the other hand really enjoyed the duck breast dish. You can see how well cooked it is even with my bad photography.

The dessert chocolate soufflé is always amazing but what makes me come back over and over again is the sourdough 😆
