Had Boxing Day lunch today. I tried the Pici restaurant at Wanchai some years ago thought it was ok, so wanna give a try to this new restaurant. Lunch for two priced at $600. Salad came first. We returned it cos veggie tasted stale and not fresh. Manager sincerely volunteered to exchange it for another starter although we said it was not needed. Ok, we ordered meatballs for another try. For mains, we had three pasta. Clams spaghetti, lasagna and ravioli. I’m sorry to say that it’s a waste of ingredients by the chef. The clams were too salty, spaghetti was tasteless, lasagna didn’t go far too wrong but obviously not good, ravioli was hard and I think it’s because of the way they wrapped it.
For desserts, we had tiramisu and panna cotta. Average. But after having the very bad experience with the starters and the mains, the deserts couldn’t salvage the overall experience.
All in all, I won’t pay another visit.
