(English version below)麥當勞甜品站的脆皮雪糕有時都幾吸引。就像以前脆皮朱古力福岡草莓雪糕,甜中帶酸,相輔相成,讓我吃完又吃。他們幾年前也推出過脆皮朱古力抹茶雪糕,有時也挺好吃,不過當時那批貨質素有點飄忽,能否吃到高水準的貨就要看運氣。這次看到他們的海報有打扮靚靚的脆皮朱古力宇治抹茶新地筒,讓我再次躍躍欲試。今天經過這裏就直接買了。衛生情況比較尷尬,始終在大馬路邊,而且甜品站就在店鋪最外面,以開放式姿態對正巴士站,不過我太想吃所以還是照樣買了。馬路人多車多雜聲多,甜品店姐姐嗓門不夠大,完全聽不到她説話(其實我不知道她有沒有説過話),隔著口罩就像跟她玩靜音的大電視游戲,而且她目無表情,感覺怪怪的。新地筒到手……了……姐姐把雪糕擠得有點中央肥胖而且朱古力不用一秒已經滴到我手上,好在姐姐有紙巾給我急救,不過之後都要找地方洗手。我上了上附近天橋,慢慢等待朱古力藉著雪糕而凝結變脆,之後就開始吃了。第一口已經失望了。綠茶太淡,朱古力也太重蠟質,兩者加起來都已經不夠甜,而且混合起來也凸顯不出任何一邊的香和味,只有色。溫度不夠低,不夠吃雪糕的感覺。吃到底下,雪糕筒是有點軟的,應該

對我而言,這個宇治抹茶系列就只是海報做得最好看。



Chocolate dipped ice cream at McDonald’s Dessert Kiosks are sometimes attractive. For example their previous chocolate dipped Fukuoka strawberry ice cream created a nice blend of sweetness and sourness, which made me eat that over and over again. They also had another chocolate dipped matcha ice cream a few years ago, which was sometimes good depending on your luck as the quality of that batch was quite fluctuating. Recently I noticed their poster featuring this beautifully packaged chocolate dipped Uji matcha sundae cone, which attracted me to give it a try. I bought it without second thought as I passed by here.

The hygiene was rather embarrassing. This dessert kiosk was right on the main street, being an open kitchen facing the bus stops, but I really wanted to try so I still went ahead.

While there were many noisy people and cars outside, the kiosk staff did not speak up, so I could not hear anything she said (actually I did not even know if she has spoken a word), it felt like playing a silent party guess having our masks on. It added a bit of weirdness as she did not quite express any emotions.

The sundae cone was in my hand... Oops… The sundae was produced in an obese shape and the chocolate dripped onto my hand in just a second. Fortunately, the staff gave me tissues as my first aid equipment, but I still had to wash my hands afterwards.

I went up to a nearby bridge and patiently waited for the chocolate to condense and become crispy with the aid of the ice cream, and then I started eating. The first bite already disappointed me. The green tea was too light, and the chocolate was too waxy. The two of them adding together were not sweet enough already, and when put together they could not express their own fragrance nor taste, and the only merit was the colour. The temperature was not low enough to make it feel like an ice cream. As I approached the bottom part, the ice cream cone was a bit soft, showing the storage did not keep it dry.

To me, the best thing about this Uji matcha series was only the good-looking poster.
