Located on a main road yet stayed pretty low key is a new cafe with decent coffee and homemade desserts. Hojicha Chiffon cake at $45 is considerably value for money in the seriously overpriced cafe food scene. A decent soft, moist and light cake with a very smooth and airy hojicha cream that has a aromatic almost floral hojicha flavour. It’s not super intense, so probably more suited for those who can’t take strong tea. The cake itself doesn’t carry much flavour so it’s more reliant on the abund

Flat white $43 (+$5 oat)
Double shot flat white is already a plus. Deep dark roasted flavour with a bitterness that I quite enjoyed. A pleasant cup of coffee with a light chiffon cake is very satisfying in a relaxing afternoon.
